"You said it darlin' , everything about him is one big killer, soulshining riff"! I was just sayin' last night that he literally saved my life and made me dust off my guitar and bend them strings with authority while crying tears of JOY"! All i want is for my light to shine bright like "ERIC GALES" ! One day I'll stand by beside him on stage while we got our "GOODTARS" howlin' & squeelin' like 2 Panthers ! 🎵🎸😎🎙 🎶🎸🤠🎙🥁🔈🔉🔊
The DYNAMIC DUO is back! Eric and Cody! These guys are just getting better and better! What talent! The tunes just effortlessly pour through them …like they're conduits for some kinda' higher power of all the great & beautiful music in the universe! RAWK ON guys!
Warm and rich musicality makes a beautiful backdrop for a relaxed Sunday morning. Thanks for your gift and being virtuosos who love the music and listener.
Cody you're an amazing musician man. I discovered you through Eric Gales. I can tell it's an honor for you to play with Eric and damn I would love to see you two live. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
They definitely compliment each other & it shows in their collaborations. I'm just happy to see him & Cody get their just dues, they're both so D@mn deserving... Good things happen for good folks...
Why would Stanley be so ignorant to not enjoy bass playing that is different from his own style? I am a personal friend of Cody's and he is very close with Mr. Clarke and they have played together a number of times. Don't be jelly on his skills, enjoy the music!
Wish I could have been there . I'm a big fan of Eric . I've only seen him one time . I think he was still only, like 18 ., at "The Back Room" in Austin. Dudes brother on stage with him . Playing up side down, n sayin "Eric just graduated from high school" . 5 or 6 brand new Mesa Boogie/dual rec full stacks . IT WAS A SHOW ILL NEVER FORGET
You can also swap all the guitar strings and make all the confusion you want, for this genius it's all the same! He will sound great just the same! Unattainable! Amazing! Awesome! Fantastic! The best for me!
clearly the heart and soul of the band is that woman who sits there and does nothing other than beat on a tambourine. without her expert timing the rest of these amateur musicians would simply fall apart.
Don't know what happened to the bass player and why he don't have him now. But, it actually made the show ! Solos are more than the notes... The music underneath sometimes makes the solo !
It' s great to see Cody as one of the greatest of all baseplayers to only play 4 string. This hype after the 5 string spured on through RnB and Soul tracks seems to slowly withdraw again.
The whole fingers versus pick argument on bass is ignorant. Each person has their own style, and their own taste. That said, Cody is an awesome bass player, and knows how to keep the strings hot. Eric isnt no slouch on guitar either, lol. Great pair that compliments each others playing.
Saw these bastards at Bluesfest on Byron Bay 2017. Awesome stuff. He was head to head with Santana and while he payed due respect to the over-rated Santana he had just as big a crowd to watch him. Eric Gales and in no small part Cody Wright blew peoples minds. His CD merchandise sold out before the weekend was over. Eric Gales and Cody Wright should be touring solo and cleaning up.
Hendrix was a TRUE lefty and strung his right handed axes lefty. I to play reverse lefty. It always felt natural to me and YES i am very right-handed. Almost all of my axes are lefties strung righty. It definitely gives a different attack, approach and sound
I swear, at times Eric Gales can fire off some riffs that just make your jaw drop!

Eric lets all the dudes shine, big time. True gentleman. This band ROCKS!!!
A rare example of two players making each other sound great instead of merely themselves.
They definitely compliment each other & it shows in their collaborations. I'm just happy to see him & Cody get their just dues, they're both so
D@mn deserving... Good things happen for good folks...
As a guitarist-turned-bassist, I appreciate the talent. Using the pick adds.
Great musicians on stage. Dig the upside-down Strat.
Eric isn't even left handed, that's just how he learned to play
That's a bad assed bassist!!
Closest thing to ambidextrous I've ever witnessed not to mention he's
just one cool customer !!!
Two truly amazing musicians! Cody your range and versatility is mind blowing. You guys just flow. So inspiring to watch and hear.
Just outstanding, just fantastic, just beautiful playing, just inspiring for all of us!!!!
I Swear Eric has to be Jimi Back in the flesh...I loved Jimi..
Jimi is smiling down on him every time he plays
Cody awesome Bass playing. Even Stanley Clarke would dig your playing!
Why would Stanley be so ignorant to not enjoy bass playing that is different from his own style? I am a personal friend of Cody's and he is very close with Mr. Clarke and they have played together a number of times. Don't be jelly on his skills, enjoy the music!
Im tempted to call him something worse than jelly!
What the hell is wrong with you? Cody plays amazingly. Good enough for Eric to want him in his band!
Amazing talent on ALL three fronts, nice to see Cody get his groove on.
Should watch the video before you make a comment...he uses both fingers and a pick to different effects...

Eric...just gives me a headache -- just sickly GOOD!!! Go man - rock it...
I recognize this first one now, it's a modified Sea of Bad Blood from his Transformation album ....................... thanks Linda
Nice! Eric has such a bizarre picking style. Might explain his awesomeness.
deep grove hits me right in the heart that is rare over the top but still connecting ala H endrix an SRV and Eddie
what a fun bass solo!
Cody is actually a killer guitar player too!
Great bass player, and band. Very Fresh..LOve it.
that Don’t Fear the Reaper cover was TIGHT!
Great share! Thank you!
Been playing and gigging 53 years now and it's obvious I have been playing upside down the whole time and didn't know it.
You can also swap all the guitar strings and make all the confusion you want, for this genius it's all the same! He will sound great just the same! Unattainable! Amazing! Awesome! Fantastic! The best for me!
Sem duvidas o melhor baixista que já tocou com o Eric.
DAMN! that is awesome...
Love the tapping on bass!! I'm a Allen Woody influenced bassist. I can't tap but saw like a mutha lol... I love this kids playing. With a pick too
Deez Muh’ fu*kiz’ is killin’ it!
F’ing raw talent, feel & inherently genius jam prowess💪🏽🎉
Eric & Cody are incredible!
When he breaks into that BOC I can't help jumping up and down...
Freaking bass player kicks ass. Git you some Cody!
clearly the heart and soul of the band is that woman who sits there and does nothing other than beat on a tambourine. without her expert timing the rest of these amateur musicians would simply fall apart.
Mr.Gales amazing as usuaL
Jimi and Jaco are smiling!
Mr. Gales. The one to be reconned with.
Cody Sounds good and like he's been listening to Jaco Pastorius in addition to Stanley Clarke.
cody was great:-D
The band is awesome.
digging the upside down strat ala Hendrix, good groove
Hendrix restrung his Strats to make the strings 'normal' again, this wicked dude actually plays 'em upside down!
oh damn I didn't know that!
Excellent.
Don't know what happened to the bass player and why he don't have him now. But, it actually made the show ! Solos are more than the notes...
The music underneath sometimes makes the solo !
HENDRIX !!!
wow
It' s great to see Cody as one of the greatest of all baseplayers to only play 4 string.
This hype after the 5 string spured on through RnB and Soul tracks seems to slowly withdraw again.
OMG 😱 that’s all I got!!!
Is Jaco back too..WOW..
Awesome
2:00 dat riff!!
Cody Wright is the Van Halen of bassists.
0:56 , 0:57 , 0:58 , that harmonys...
Cody Wright has the same charm around his neck as Marcus King
Wow jimi henrix you are there

min 13:13 Is Montreal Mark Lettieri's song jam? jaja
The whole fingers versus pick argument on bass is ignorant. Each person has their own style, and their own taste. That said, Cody is an awesome bass player, and knows how to keep the strings hot. Eric isnt no slouch on guitar either, lol. Great pair that compliments each others playing.
when is the next blues cruise?
Total pro.
@ 2:53 in this video reminds me Motörhead - Suicide @ 1:03
damn cody
13:50 Ha!
Gales the fukkin Boss!
Saw these bastards at Bluesfest on Byron Bay 2017. Awesome stuff. He was head to head with Santana and while he payed due respect to the over-rated Santana he had just as big a crowd to watch him. 18:33
what's that tune, man?
what is the name of this track?
The latter on was "Don't Fear the Reaper, by Blue Oyster Cult
8:15
..jst saw them a couple nights ago ...Cody wasn't with him ...
Where is the bassist?
try not be a bad apple.
nothing worse that unrecognized talent in this ridiculous music scene
Pretty good bass player.. for a white man! ;-) I am a white man.
Bass players get no. Love
Never trust a bass player with a pick
nothing to do with blues
Yeah, because this was their entire set! *sarcasm*
The original upside-downing bluesman was Otis Rush, SRV copied his shit.
Who in the hell else plays a guitar that way. With the strings upside down. Awesome! They all kick ass!
albert king used too.
Doyle bramhall jr
Hendrix played that way as well...
What's interesting is he is right handed. He only plays the guitar left handed because that is how his left handed brother playsand he copied it
Hendrix was a TRUE lefty and strung his right handed axes lefty. I to play reverse lefty. It always felt natural to me and YES i am very right-handed. Almost all of my axes are lefties strung righty. It definitely gives a different attack, approach and sound
