NS 8101 (Central of Georgia) HERITAGE UNIT Leads NS 219 Thru Sturgeon, Missouri

While Railfanning Norfolk Southern’s St. Louis District, arguably my all time favorite NS heritage units made an appearance this afternoon on train 219. This heritage unit had came in on 259 previously to Kansas City and was flipped to lead back East. One of my favorite parts about this unit other than the scheme and heritage is the K5HLA horn. Including this heritage unit, I managed to see THREE Eastbound trains in the span of an hour, which is absolutely outstanding.
