claudia Sanders is the only place you can get the real deal original chicken recipe, the other fast food chain simply have the watered down cost saving version.
It is so surreal seeing the iconic KFC's origins. Who would have thought that now "simple looking" restaurant - KFC - is very well known worldwide including Asia. Do you know that in many cafeterias/ canteens around Asia, they serve fried chicken cooked KFC style? There are options - traditional fried chicken - cooked traditionally depending on the country/ local way of cooking it - and there is KFC style fried chicken. They name it "KFC" style. Anyway Joe, thank you for showing this to us. I am here in the US now. Hope i can visit that place in the future.
I'm from the Philippines, @evancortez2, the birthplace of Jollibee and I will let you know right now - NO. Unlike in the US, fast food chains are highly politicised here and unlike in your US Culture, we so not have much Sentiments as you Americans do when it comes to fast food chains. We don't care who started it here. As long as it tastes good we're Happy.
Harland Sanders is a legend. Ed when you go back in the PH you should also try Filipino 1950s Savory Chicken restaurant there is a branch in Greenhills they have delicious pansit & Whole Classic Chicken.
I live in Corbin (where this is at) and this is the only KFC I’ve ever ate at. They did renovations to the building and added some more cool stuff. It is pretty much the only reason people come here. Or to see Cumberland Falls lol
I’ve been there. It’s a great museum and KFC, as a fellow Kentuckian. It’s crazy to think someone from the Philippines is watching a vlog about the first KFC! I’m so glad everyone enjoys KFC.
I lived in the city next door to Hapeville for 18 years snd hsve eaten at that KFC many times during the 60s and 70s. I never went through the little door, though.
False. The first Kentucky fried chicken is in utah..... that is Sanders cafe but it wasn't KFC until Sanders paired up with Harman and opened KFC in utah.
3:55 This is THE KFC menu we know and love! I don’t know why they took down so many good foods off their menu. I really miss those Finger Lickin’ Good Ol’ Days. 🥲
Americans brought KFC to Japan after WW2. They eat it on Christmas as they don't celebrate Christmas religiously. It's just their 'thing' for that holiday
KFC is in every single continent except the uninhabitable Antarcticas, in fact, it’s even in more countries than it is not. How mystical it must feel to be in the original tree that sprouted this mega-chain that has spread like a wildfire globally.
Hows it diff from kfc in mnla? I always make it a point to ear at a local kfc whenever i travel. Tried one in Joburg south africa it was salty, kansas city was a lil bland, macao china taste a lil chinese and phil is more on the sweet side. Whats unique abt ph is that the chickens are alot smaller
I want to be a motovlogger too but i dont know how you guys do that lol, what app do you used to edit videos lol, im curious i want to learn, im a rider from the philippines
Popeyes Chicken > Jollibee > KFC. I used to like KFC until I had Popeyes and most recently, Jollibee here in socal. And that was because you said Jollibee coke was the best. Lol
Hello Joseph, I have the task of explaining someone's biography, and I will use Colonel Sanders for this task, I have permission to use a piece of your video, thank you
I ate dinner chicken meal every other day. And my hands started shaking. I stopped eating kfc. It straight came back to normal after like a week if eating normal food! And that was in Kuwait wtf #kfc !
Yay. That was my comment. U made this video just for me :) im special! Haha
I'll try to do one at a normal KFC if I get the chance, In Ky. they have buffet's
: ) Thanks for the suggestion.
Cool!
Nice i live in corbin
claudia Sanders is the only place you can get the real deal original chicken recipe, the other fast food chain simply have the watered down cost saving version.
True enough, they cut cost and they even increase the price just to maximize their profit.

You need to try Claudia Sanders (his wife) in Shelbyville Ky (maybe 4-5 miles off I-64) also. Much nicer sitdown home cooking type food. Very good!
Really? I never heard of that before.
@@JosephMyLife Yep, it's been around for a long time. When they left Corbin they moved to Shelbyville. Good stuff!
so much different than the single spoon size sides you get here.
I forgot how big portions are here, but you pay extra for it.

False. The first Kentucky fried chicken is in utah..... that is Sanders cafe but it wasn't KFC until Sanders paired up with Harman and opened KFC in utah.
Well technically corbin was the first one to brand as colonel sanders and use the recipe, Utah is the first FRANCHISE store.
i know this is a very super late Commet but i been here like a lot of times and it hits different.
I will not argue the credibility from one who is born and raised in the Birthplace of KFC.

Hey man! I looked into PH citizenship, when I saw that you had to renounce your US citizenship I backed-off on the idea! :(
I would never dream of doing that! why can't you get dual? I know people who are.
Wait till you go to a KFC in Australia but you have to look up which ones the best
Americans brought KFC to Japan after WW2. They eat it on Christmas as they don't celebrate Christmas religiously. It's just their 'thing' for that holiday

It taste a lot like in America, Seems only KFC's in Kentucky have the big chickens and buffet's though.
