Google Meet: How to Join a Meeting

Google Meet is a video chatting app that lets you virtually connect with people when you can’t meet in-person. To join a Google Meet, all you’ll need is a link or code sent to you. 1. Can't find why Chrome is not allowing the camera to function. It seemed to be ready but when I entered the meeting it wasn't.

Very incomplete regarding being the receiver of an invitation t "join" (read receive a call from a friend). (1) I'm not using my phone. How does an invitation arrive - text msg, phone call, ???. (2) Once I can see who the invitation is from, what do I do??? do I have to start GoogleMeet, do I just select YES, ????. I have not been able to find a video that address how to receive a video call, only to initiate one.... HELP!
