I own this camera too, there is one thing need to be notice. About the hot shoe part there is a switch on it which will switch on the flash matic system in the camera. So it is better remove the hot shoe cover from the camera. If not might accidentally switch on the flash matic and causing aperture or shutter speed not accurate. Hope I am not wrong!

Doesn't BLC simply add 1.5 stops of exposure rather than using a spot meter?
lr44 will fit without adapter? i thought lr44 is smaller than lr9?

I looked it up , F button called shutter lock free button, I have it on mine, it override the locked shutter when you press it, as in dark places.

It is not for dark places because it doesn't fire below 1/15 f1.7.
It is for puting film in the camera when you have to wind and fire the shutter..
