Loved how Holden mentioned that he was actually invested a few times during this reaction. Obviously the whole "family" thing has been memed to death, but when you sit down and watch all these movies, you genuinely do start to care about the more soap opera like elements, and what happens to the characters and their relationships
When Dom and Letty were about to race, the woman who starts the race is Rita Ora, model, actress singer... Who has the song "Black Widow" with Iggy Azalea... who also a place in the series, and she's also recently, Taika Waititi's wife.
The part where The Rock said "better hide that big ass forehead" was completely improved on the spot. That's why Ludacris legitimately spit his drink out and they decided to keep it in the movie.
Googled the length of the runway - Calculations suggest that the runway must be at least 18.37 miles (29.56 km) long for the sequence to take place, with estimates up to 28.83 miles (46.40 km).
Yo 9:32 "No one like Gaston" bit was heavan 🤣 I'm still laughing I peed myself laughing just because the image of Luke driving away with the cops behind him with Holden's "No one like Gaston" song was perfection I. Can totally see Gaston singing that while fleeing lol
It's amazing how beautifully they handled it. This is not a franchise known for its subtlety, to say the least, so the care and delicacy with which they handled Paul's death was fantastic. About as well as they could have done it.
Fast 4-7 are some of my favorite movies of all time. They’re just so easily digestible. People will say “It’s so crazy it’s stupid.” Or “Theres like no story”. And to that I say, okay? It’s still so fun!
The only way I sort of think about the runway scene when I’m watching is that a lot of the scenes are happening simultaneously. So when it’s on Han and Giselle in the cars, the stuff in the plane with Brian and dom is happening at the same time. It still would be a 50 mile runway but it helps my brain not be totally taken out of the movie because of it
14:52 By FAR my favourite part of any reaction you guys do is when Jen whips out the English accent! As an Englishman myself, I can say she absolutely nails it every time and always leaves me with a smile on my face!
Watching this one knowing that Fast 7 is Paul's last movie is making me sad yet happy because there is a moment at the 25:04 mark when Holden said "I'm actually invested in this..." 😂😂😂 and it is pure gold watching him realize why people love this franchise so much. Jen gets the Dom / Letty love story and it's twists which only get crazier as we know. We appreciate watching you both appreciate how we've invested over a decade of our lives enjoying these love stories..Wait until Holden learns about Vin's Facebook and Instagram pages ❤🙌🏾❤
This was the last movie that Paul was in for entire production. Same year in November, he unfortunately passed away. 6 & 7 were suppose to be released back to back (2013 & 14 resp.) so they were already halfway in 7s production. Paul's brothers filled in to do some of his scenes. They CGI his face and few clips from previous films were also used as reference. Movie was released in 2015 and earned more than a billion. It was a bittersweet moment but at least we got Paul in the 7 rather than entirely removing his character. Although you can still see few scenes where it was apparent that that's a CGI face. BTW, these are not spoilers as fans already knew what was going on with the production. PS, that ending 😢 Edit: Shit it'll be 10 years this November 30th since Paul passed. Time goes by soo fast.
Totally agree. Started the video by saying “turning off our brains,” only to make jokes and sarcastic comments throughout the whole movie. We’re all aware these movies our beyond unrealistic. But they’re a fun watch
We can cut them some slack. Dom jumping across the bridge is when the series transitions to full insanity and doesn't go back. They probably weren't ready for that 😂😂
Jen's eyeroll at the beef joke gave me life. Now, knowing that the movies only get more ridiculous from here, what are your most unhinged guesses at where they'll go next? They've fought planes and tanks with their cars. What other vehicle do you think they're about to fight with their cars?
The Runway is long but not as long as you think. Basically every sequence with the different characters all takes place at the same time. Someone did a edited version of it putting it all together. So instead of being this 15 minute long sequence, all together it was 5 minutes.
The runway scene may seem long but it's just a decent size. The runway seems long because we as viewers are looking at multiple scenes happening but from the characters' perspective every single one of these events that we are watching are happening simultaneously. For us it's roughly 30-40 mins but for them it probably just lasted 10 mins.
7:04 Vin also named his daughter after Paul (Paulina) and Vin walked Meadow down the aisle at her wedding. I believe Vin & Dwayne’s beef had to do with both being Alpha’s and Dwayne taking the spin-off movie. It’s funny some place recently released a wax sculpture of Dwayne Johnson and it looks like if Vin & Dwayne had a kid. Gal Gadot was in the Israeli Defense Forces. 30:51 Ludacris’ reaction was real. Dwayne adlibbed that scene.
A couple of aerospace engineers made a calculation based on the planes (AN-225) landing and takeoff speeds and how long the plane was on the ground, the runway had to be over 18 miles long.
FUN FACT: Paul walker did almost all his scenes in Furious 7 that he was apart of except toward the end when they had his brother step in and put VFX to look like him. R.I.P to the legend Paul Walker.

The reveal with Jason in the end had me floored when it first came out as Han and Tokyo Drift was the one film I watched on repeat and that was how they introduced another one of my favourite actors was the death of my favourite character...
So the runway length is a joke that happened a lot when this movie came out- several groups actually did the math and it would need to be 18.37 miles long conservatively and 28 miles liberally. For reference, most runways are around 2.5 miles long and the longest in the world is in China and is 3.5 miles.
Greetings from Finland!!! I heard that Rock improvised the line "better hide that big ass forehead" and that's why Tyrese is stunned by his response 😂 "i'll be back" 😎
They drive 13 minutes with an average speed of around 120mph (193km/h). That's two miles every minute, which makes the runway 26 miles (42km) long. The longest airport runway of the world is in China and is 5 km / 3,1miles long.
So the final dialogue between Toretto and Hobbs were shot in different POV, that's when their beef started and since on they shoot their scenes different, but they also said their problems were solved said by both actors, you know due to the franchise almost coming in the end and so people want to see their characters uniting again, so they were like let's do it for the fans! Also I completely enjoyed this reaction You guys were gasping and screaming at the perfect moments where I was expecting This reaction video was great!
There was also a film called Los Bandoleros that shows how Dom and Han connected. It’s placed right after fast 1. So while Brian went to Miami and ride with Roman, Han and Dom met in Mexico and started doing things in South America
Can’t wait until you guys finish the series, I’m curious how you rank them all. For me personally Id rank them from best to worst in this order: 5, 1, 4, 6, 10, 2, 7, 8, ,9, and 3
This one was one of the most fun cinema experiences I've ever had. Everyone there was prepared for dumb fun and this one delivers. The funniest part was hearing the uncomfortable groan everyone made after the mid-air catch, and the excitement when Statham appeared rivalled an avenger film. Something I do appreciate is these movies have their own internal logic. Yeah. 90% of this wouldn't work in real life, but it's still weirdly consistent within its own loose version of reality.
People usually say, turn your brain off with this franchise but the storytelling goes underrated. That runway chase scene was one of the longest in cinematic history (^_^ ) We didn't know it yet but Roman and Han got beat up Sub-Zero from the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie.
Not sure whether you're aware yet (I've not heard you mention it), but the Rock LEGITIMATELY has a clause in his movie contracts as a condition of his being in the movie that he can not ever actually lose a physical fight against someone. If its needed for plot they make it so the fight is unresolved, the other guy gets away somehow, or the other guy cheats with some kind of weapon to win. Its pretty interesting knowing this and seeing all the ways they get around it in his movies lol
When Tyrese says at the end “hide your baby oil” The Rocks response “hide that big ass forehead” was unscripted and Ludacris actually spit out his drink at the retort.
Paul Walkr's Brian O'Conner is the my favorite character from Fast Saga. He is the more natural character of this franchise . He has no superhuman strength like Dom and Hobbs. He also not a tech wizard. Paul Walker is one of my favorite actor . I really shocked and heartbroken when I heard the tragic news about his death . Every time I heard a news about fast & furious frachise , first thing I remember is him. R.I.P. Paul Walker . Miss him.❤
Funnily enough, he actually hired the guy who used to write for him in WWE as his own personal writer and to be SVP of his production company. So it's a big reason why his persona has remained so consistent over the years, as he still works with the guy who really "gets" his character.
fun fact at the end when the Hobbs said to Roman to "hide that big ass forehead" it wasint in the script so ludacris reation with that spitting out the beer is genuine ofc when he did that they probably take some other take but recreated the reactions and all
Keep them coming Guys!!!! Loving Your reactions and felt the same way about Letty. And also her actress even said she wants a Transformers meets Fast and Furious crossover.
Fun fact about this film. The nato base that’s supposed to be in Spain is actually where I live near Oxford in the uk 😂. Used the same airbase for the opening Hawaii scene in black widow and the end fight for Wonder Woman 🤣🤣
I want to start by saying I love your reactions. With that being said you've been a little over the top with your quips during the previous films. 😂 I did love your Gaston bit during this reaction though. Keep up the good work.
just remember paul walker finished 85% of fast 7 before he passed but some scenes near the end would of been shot before some scenes that the cgi and his brother was in so not ever scene was filmed in order as u see them
Fun fact when Ty Reese says ‘Mia you better hide your baby oil, & the rock says you better hide that big ass forehead’ it wasn’t scripted & Ludas reaction is genuine.
For greater context on the time period. Gal Gadot was killed off because this was when she accepted the roll as Wonder Woman. (And yes, as far as I know, women in Israel take mandatory military service).
The runway is approximately 26 miles in length. It's the perfect size for fast-paced action sequences with the whole family! Edit: No C-5 Galaxy aircraft were harmed in the making of this movie.
These are now going to be apart of my yearly rewatch. These movies have a such a big place in my heart weirdly lol. I remember where i was when i found out about Paul and was in tears. so next one is always alot for me. But so happy you guys are along for the ride
The Rock ad libbed that “You better hide that big ass forehead” line, which is why Ludicrous spit out his water because they didn’t know it was coming.
Fast and Furious 6 is a “respect the past, embrace the future” film. It ties everything from the previous movies and is a foundation of how the rest of the movies are structured.
Holden’s quick jokes kill Me every time can’t wait to watch the next couple with you guys seeing you’re reactions on some of the far fetched things that will happen are going to be awesome 😂
30:48 “Mia better hide your baby oil” as Rock approached “You better hide that big ass forehead” Ludacris spits laughing. I heard he did that as a real take because The Rock improvised that big forehead line.
“Better hide that big ass forehead” was completely improvised by The Rock and so was Roman’s following line. Ludacris spitting out his drink was a genuine and real reaction.

Also I completely enjoyed this reaction
You guys were gasping and screaming at the perfect moments where I was expecting
This reaction video was great!
the comeback from dwayne at 30:49 was actually improvised, so that spit and reaction was completely real
There was also a film called Los Bandoleros that shows how Dom and Han connected. It’s placed right after fast 1. So while Brian went to Miami and ride with Roman, Han and Dom met in Mexico and started doing things in South America
This runway was so forever long, and I love it 🤣🤣🤣
Can’t wait until you guys finish the series, I’m curious how you rank them all. For me personally Id rank them from best to worst in this order: 5, 1, 4, 6, 10, 2, 7, 8, ,9, and 3
Paul Walkers daughter got married after her dad died. It was Vin Diesel who walked her down the aisle. 7:02
I love that they all get the call that Dom needs help and they drop EVERYTHING and roll out.
Being Rich-&-Successful doesn't mean that they-all stop being "Family."
The line where The Rock said "Watch that big ass forehead" was improvised, that was Ludacris' real reaction when he spit out his drink
The runway would have to be 28 miles long for the end sequence. This movie is where the franchise crosses the line with science fiction/parody.
People usually say, turn your brain off with this franchise but the storytelling goes underrated.
That runway chase scene was one of the longest in cinematic history (^_^ ) We didn't know it yet but Roman and Han got beat up Sub-Zero from the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie.
Correct, and I'm Surprised that Holden did-not recognize Joe Taslim; Loved Him as Sub-Zero in MK'21, He was Brutal and Scary!!
Rumor has it Vin Diesel and Jason Statham have the same clause in their contracts.
@@vederianl9723 I would be very surprised if Statham has a similar one in his contract, Vin Diesel might though
Miss him.❤
Some people did the math on the runway length compared to their time on the plane and speed. It would’ve been somewhere between 26-28 miles long.
The baby oil scene was improvised so tej spitting the water was genuine
The nest one's gonna be an emotional ride for sure. It's almost a decade now since the tragedy happened.
The camera perspective during Vin and The Rock’s conversation is hilarious 31:09
I did not expect Jen to prefer this one over 5 and even the first one! That was a shock to me
Holdens face when the tank busted out of the truck is priceless
2:44 I was not ready for comment of the day. Thanks for picking mine 😄
I love just how stupid some of the Rocks lines are in this series it’s so over the top it’s great honestly
That spit take by ludacris at the end of the movie was off script -- "hide your big ass forehead" - LOL
I really enjoy watching y’all watch this series
Fast 7 is one of my favorite movies of all time. It was Paul Walkers final movie. Can't wait for y'all to react to it
just remember paul walker finished 85% of fast 7 before he passed but some scenes near the end would of been shot before some scenes that the cgi and his brother was in so not ever scene was filmed in order as u see them
Fun fact when Ty Reese says ‘Mia you better hide your baby oil, & the rock says you better hide that big ass forehead’ it wasn’t scripted & Ludas reaction is genuine.
For greater context on the time period. Gal Gadot was killed off because this was when she accepted the roll as Wonder Woman. (And yes, as far as I know, women in Israel take mandatory military service).
I always thought it was because of how they needed a reason for why Han was all alone when the events of Tokyo Drift happened
The runway has been calculated by the internet to be 38 miles long.
26:40 the Great Value Cate Blanchett comment was so top tier😂😂😂😂
The guy Han and Tyrees fight is Joe Taslim, who played Sub Zero in the recent Mortal Kombat. Have you guys seen The Raid
The Rock ad libbed that “You better hide that big ass forehead” line, which is why Ludicrous spit out his water because they didn’t know it was coming.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but the character of han is the first to appear in a movie called better luck tomorrow back in 02
Fast and Furious 6 is a “respect the past, embrace the future” film. It ties everything from the previous movies and is a foundation of how the rest of the movies are structured.
This one is probably my favorite. The absolute threshold of what I can tolerate on the ridiculous level.
Holden’s quick jokes kill
Me every time can’t wait to watch the next couple with you guys seeing you’re reactions on some of the far fetched things that will happen are going to be awesome 😂
Through gritted teeth “Stop it Holden Thomas Hardman”. Set me off in chuckles no end 🤣🤣🤣
30:48 “Mia better hide your baby oil” as Rock approached “You better hide that big ass forehead” Ludacris spits laughing. I heard he did that as a real take because The Rock improvised that big forehead line.
@5:45, 31:31 “Holden Thomas Hardman” 😂
“Better hide that big ass forehead” was completely improvised by The Rock and so was Roman’s following line. Ludacris spitting out his drink was a genuine and real reaction.
