Yes, it's a literal reskin of an already existing blaster. But it is still a good blaster and I'm glad I got myself one.
I just got the Sonic the Hedgehog version of the Dread literally today, it feels great - fun skin too. I had to buy it when i saw there was a sonic version lol.
Xshot is the only real competitor to nerf in the UK and they're really good.
Only issue is any mag fed xshot blasters only take xshot darts, and older ones only take the blue tipped darts. which is a shame!

@@thatoldnerfguy actually a lot more of a recent sonic fan, only going as far back as the Xbox 360/PS3 games, but I’ve played most of em!

@@dipson35989 months late, pull back the top slide all the way until it clicks, then pull the top trigger.

Love the vids and great blaster it does great with dbl spring so worth having one for parts and the prime is really smoothe careful removing air ristrictor I did too much on the one in the blaster but did it right on the second on hence dbl spring 😆 🤣 😂
As I remember those (at least the Xcess) are easy to mod... Plus the fact that it does share the same trigger and Cylinder selector "Switch" let me think they are more similar than the eyes can tell

Son just got one of these the barrel changer broke in the first few times of using it .
Contact Zuru, they got Excellent customer service. I'm kinda surprised by this, This Dread is an exact reskin of the Xcess... and I'm rough with them, it Never broke. You might have a defective unit from factory.

@@NZMOPARHow’d you fix this? I accidentally broke my nephews and can figure out how to get it to auto change the barrel after one shot
