This is an amazing video. The adults are so attentive. The babies are beautiful. The nest looks so comfortable. The way the babies raise their bottoms and the adult removes their waste. I found this so funny.
Babies are yummy. If only i could order in KFC a nest of baby snacks! LIVING! CHIRPING! PINK! SOFT AND ABSOLUTELY HELPLESS! And probably absolutely awesome with mustard... you can even force your meal to eat some spices instead putting them on it manually.

We got some of them in our rooftop somewhere. I can watcht them fly really near direct before my windows, actually I'm sometimes afraid they will Hit it. I put some seeds on my windowbench every day for them, and I love watching them when they pick up those seeds and eat them. Precious, beautiful little birds, I love them

It's adorable and all, but I can't get over the newborn chicks' "eyes". It's kind of amazing that they know to poop like that tho, in a way that the parent can remove the waste. And I love how the parents actually seem to check that everything's okay and everybody's fine. And the little sounds before they leave. Amazing video c:

In meinem Leben haben wir viele, viele Meiseneltern beim Großziehen begleitet, einmal mit rekordverdächtigen 16 Küken (alle sind am Ende ausgeflogen). Meine Frage: Besonders am Anfang scheint es, als käme sehr viel Licht in den Kasten. Wie sind die Meisen damit klargekommen? Ich dachte immer, die bevorzugen eher eine dunkle Höhle bzw. einen dunklen Meisenkasten. In unsere haben wir immer nur mal reingeschaut, wenn keines der Alttiere drin waren. Naja, vielleicht haben Sie Ihre Tiere von Anfang an dran gewöhnt.
Sieht man doch: Der hat einfach die gesamte Rückseite des Nistkastens geöffnet und dort die Kamera vorgestellt. Dass die Altvögel dann immer noch durch das Einflugsloch reinkommen ist ungewöhnlich.
