Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Dragon Age, etc). Chernobylite is a Science Fiction Survival Horror RPG from developers Farm 51. Set in the hyper-realistic, 3D scanned wasteland of Chernobyl’s exclusion zone, you’ll take on the role of Igor, a physicist and ex-employee of the Chernobyl Power Plant, returning to Pripyat to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée, 30 years prior. Base Building & Crafting

now that you have a bigger inventory doesn't mean you fill it with stuff you should store. LOL. Such a hoarder. Driving me crazy.
Boris has the nice guy syndrome saying, "He doesn't know you like I do." and "He doesn't see the real you like I do." Then he gets shut down and the immediately goes from be with me to, 'well if I can't have you, no one can.' Just, ugh.
Why is he walking around with his whole inventory??? Can't you store rations at base?
Unfortunately he seems to struggle with basic systems in games...l

Odd, could you try to run a little just before a silent take down from behind? Do they notice you immediately or you have some buffer time where you can close to the guy faster?
I am loving this series! Now time for some notes I realized.
It’s 12 days per mushroom planter box. So 48 days to recoup 4 boxes. 1/2 mushroom per day and each is 6 mushrooms equals 12 days.
Also I think you need to combine the plates with the armor so they work. I haven’t played the game but I see you equipping armor and the green armor bar in the bottom corner doesn’t increase so my hypothesis is you have to drag plates to the armor in the inventory.
Gotta say, it’s extremely fucked up to toss someone you claim to “love” to the wolves aka the KGB. He would have had to know that she’d likely be tortured and killed once they locked her up, executed quickly at best. Hate to imagine how he treats his enemies if that’s what he does to loved ones.

Tortured and killed would have been more light hearted than reality, and what we hear happening to her more likely than not. I do hope the player gets a chance to put several bullets in Boris.

Maybe if we didn't pick mushrooms every evening, they would grow more each day? Don't know, just guessing. Otherwise 12 days to break even seems kinda long.
The Emperor Protects .
I don't mean to be mean, but the voice acting in this game is... bad. That reaction to learning about that happened to her...
I'm sure the dialogue not being great can be a huge hindrance when it comes to voice acting, but damn! :))
After playing the whole game, the Russian voice acting is much better in my opinion.
Russian is the intended voice acting, it's so much better
The music in this game sounds like some sort of a mixture between Silent Hill, Resident evil and Final Fantasy 7 in some weird way.

I don't understand how you sleep in the same building as Mikhail yet call Tarakan a psychopath.
Man Igor just can’t catch a break can he? Everybody in this game is doing him wrong. While it’s easy to hate him already, I hope Boris has some redeeming qualities if we ever run into him.
And I hope Olivier isn’t going to turn antagonist on us. I like the guy.
There can be no fact nor path which could even begin to redeem a monster like Boris. Death is too good and the most heinous tortures you can imagine too kind.

Man how long till part 13 this is so good I haven’t watched a let’s play in forever thanks Chris this is the first good one in a long time
