We stayed at the National Park Service campground. We enjoyed it, especially the beaches, but it's dry camping only. So if you require hook-ups you'll want to look at one of the private campgrounds. A blog post about our stay at Ocracoke will be coming out soon.
The Motorhome experiment segment from San Diego camp land April 2018 With all do respect your wife looks amazing with out her glasses and her hair was awsome, OOLALA. you guys are fun to watch thanks.
Truly a land yacht! You where uncharacteristically quiet . . . I figure they had your RV door too close to the bulkhead to get out! heheheh Thank you both for sharing!
Very cool! Just sit back and enjoy the ride! I hope you guys were able to find some awesome vegan food to eat while you were there! Also, did you guys get to see the wild horses running along the beach while you were in North Carolina?
Donna B Awesome vegan food was scarce but we came loaded with supplies. We didn’t see the wild horses in NC but saw them later on Assateague. They were trying to eat food off of a neighbor’s grill. 🤣
Thank you, this is on our bucket list now. Have you been on a campground there? If yes. Do you recommend it?

And the blog post is up: www.veganrv.com/putting-the-rv-on-the-boat-to-ocracoke/
Thank you. ;-) We have to go there, and not just because of the ferry ride. :-) It seems to be very dog friendly, too.
It does! Most of the restaurants in town have patio seating.

Breath-taking ride. I guess silence is golden.
We might have been speechless. It's a weird thing putting your RV on a boat!
I took the New London, CT to Long Island ferry (Class A towing a car). They were so nice! They relieved me of $300 they didn't think I needed!
Ouch! We were looking at the ferry to Newfoundland and it was going to be about $1000. Nope.
Hi guys! Thanks for posting a video. We would love to see more!
We'll see what we can do!
Looked like fun, thanks for sharing!
It was fun, and crazy!
That video was too cool! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Glad you liked it! It's definitely something to experience.

Jonathan Hawes We could get out, but barely! It’s much more comfortable inside though with snacks & pillows.
Give me a bridge any day... Ferries are scary.
Aww, come on! Where's your sense of adventure?
That is a great bargain at $45.

VeganRV, LOL. Yeah, I've seen them on Assateague. Very awesome to see them! Safe travels!✌️
Very cool ride. Was this the first time you had taken the RV on a ferry? I love the Outer Banks.
Pidasian Hippie This was our first time! The Outer Banks is wonderful especially Ocracoke.
