Yes I carry a lot of extra stuff that is probably not needed, however being the mechanic in the group, its important to carry tools to fix other brands of bikes.
My Ride:
2018 Triumph Tiger 800 XCA
Good stuff lol. 🙏 thx for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Forget the quick clot powder and just stitch yourself up 😉. Seriously, you need to me prepared for anything.
Stitch it up Roadhouse style haha. Id probably rather burn it shut at that point
@@AUTOT3KHCL lol
that rap whistle could come in handy? all joking aside the metal puddy stuff is a great idea. a lot of good stuff. I also have a very small sleeping bag. I also carry a small 1 gallon gas can and a tool bag. Had to change a voltage regulator on a friend's bike on a long trip you never know what's going to happen haha
I have a couple of 2L cans that can clip onto the saddlebags but I only use those for more secluded areas. I can usually squeeze 350-380km to a tank so haven't had much for fuel issues!
@@AUTOT3KHCL I get about the same km's on the harley but have had to use it for a friend.
Can I ask....as I have tubed tyres on my T100....you idea for pushing a tubeless valve into the rim if the tube gets holed to sort of make the wheel tubless.....how do you stop the ait leaking from the spoke holes.
Worries me getting a holded tube mls from anywhere.
Like you I carry CO2 cartridge's 5 and a small 12v pump....was thinking of carrying the tube goup stuff.....put it in when and if I get a holed tube.
3M makes a kit to convert your wheels to tubeless. You put a little sticker over each spoke end and then put a big thick tape the whole way around the rim. They're all over ebay
@@AUTOT3KHCL Yes seem em....love to try them.....but I just dont know....prob works ok....just looks a bit DIY.
You do a lot of miles on your bike.....can I ask how many flats have you had with your tubed wheels.
In how many years.....your answer will be very interesting to me.
I've had one tire fail in 125k km. Not the tube and didn't go flat. Tread came off the tire and started separating
@@AUTOT3KHCL WOW.....thats way way better that I was expecting.....seems like maybe both of us worry to much about the reliability of tubes.
Were all those miles on hi-way....or was there any off road.
