- During a battle, one of the raiders keeps going in circles with no purpose of direction. Saul Tigh suggested that "Wounded Bird. Can't Fly Home". Meanwhile, viewers are introduced to Ellen, Saul Tigh's wife. Notice the correlation?!
From "Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down" (Season 1, Episode 9): President Roslin's fears that Commander Adama is a Cylon are stoked when she learns he's making secret wireless calls to other ships.

#BattlestarGalactica #BSG #SciFi
I was once asked to choose between Star Trek and Star Wars. With no hesitation, I said Battlestar Galactica. To me, it's a no-brainer.
So say we all
Agreed
While all three lean towards soft sci-fi some more than others (BSG even though the most realistic of the three, is still a "naval battle in space"), to me what makes it stand out is the feeling of emptiness and danger of their universe. They're alone and vulnerable in an hostile environment where it's not easy to get resources and habitable worlds are very few and far in-between.
That, added to their somewhat more familiar tech makes it feel more relatable.
Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica
The Expanse has entered the chat.
I love this scene. Colonel Tigh being insecure but smart at the same time. I also love the writing on the show. The first time I saw this, as soon as he said put a Raptor in the "air" (ha!), I knew he was thinking ELINT (which he confirms a moment later).
This was the first instance of "Short Jumping" (FTL jump that ends within single light-minute range of where it started) that we see in the show. The Bucket does it twice over New Caprica (to get into and out of the Bucket Drop/Adama Maneuver), and Raptors do it in The Battle of The Colony. Because we don't see Cylons doing this more often, I've come to the conclusion that this is either hard on the FTL drives, or not very fuel efficient.
In Deadlock. On the campaign pulls several small jumps but it fries the computer if done too much. The cylon ships have it as a regular option. And IS frustrating when you are about to land a nuke on them and they micro jump out of it last second
Don't accept her -- she's a cylon, but then again, so are you, Saul.
SPOILERS!!! :)
That Raider has definitely got a circuit mixed up internally, just randomly jumping about like that
Starbuck is the circuit mixup in that raider.
I didn't remember the episode at first. My first reaction was Bulldog.
A most excellent show 😊😄❤️
2:50 That's the moment everything went downhill 😬😬
Got that right, would been better jump away!
when will the official game battlestar galactica online return? many of us miss the game.
You shold play BSG Deadlock and all DLC, its fun and very good game, but i wish they made mods for the game, theres so much more potential.
You know me I could care less i rather fight the good fight get home that way💪🏾🙏🏽
What ever happened to that Wounded Bird? I don't remember any resolution to that storyline. We just stopped hearing about it. Wouldn't they try to capture it after getting tired of listening to it and watching it flop around? Legit question. I forget stuff. But I don't remember what happened next.
It sorted itself out by the end of the episode and made a run at Galactica. It was believed that it may have been toying with the Colonials the whole time though it was never confirmed. It was destroyed before it could kamikaze into the ship.
