Absolutely correct! I got hit smack in the middle of my eyes and had two black eyes and dark purple. No makeup will work to cover the black eyes. And it happened 2 more times with the same results. I finally found some courage and self worth and left. Of course I brought all this upon myself if I had just did what I was told and believed I had it coming. Besides nobody believed me he's just too good looking and a hard worker. 😂😂😂😂😂 I must have done something to upset him. And I really did think this way because everyone believed him. He was very good at convincing people even my own family that it was my fault. Even therapy told me I should be grateful and I should try harder. Finally I told all these jackasses to go f*** themselves. And am the happiest, satisfied and at peace I have ever been. He landed up doing prison time. I never wished that on him. It would've accomplished nothing. I walked away alive and stronger and harder to knock down. I'm satisfied with my decisions and don't second guess myself anymore. I can live with my choices and not regret my decisions. And sleep very peacefully. And surround myself with people who care and have my best interest at heart. And I don't worry they're going to hit my between my eyes just because.....
when my dog was a puppy he bit my nose hard enough to bruise but not break the skin. there was no covering it. everyone asked if my husband had done it, and I had to tell them it was the dog! no matter what kind of "makeup artist" AH claimed to be, there's no covering what she said happened to her face. especially not with the products she claimed to use and how she said she used them. totally full of it.

I got a black eye about a week ago falling out of bed (long story). Compared to her alleged injury it was a paper cut. No amount of makeup covered it up, and my eye is still slightly swollen and discolored, mostly green and yellow by this point.

I think she meant to say that because it COULDNT be that bad since her face is clearly perfect in that photo. Ice only REDUCES swelling a little. She had NO swelling. Therefore- it couldn’t have been that bad. While this threw me off at first too, I quickly realized that 1) she HAD to say it wasn’t that bad and 2) getting hit but the injury wasn’t too bad does not let the person off the hook who hit you. So it really doesn’t hurt her case if he didn’t beat her to a pulp. If he beat her at all- that’s bad enough. What hurt her is that he clearly didn’t even flick her check let alone beat her 😂
