Dann Another GREAT vlog, always lifts my heart to see you in my UA-cam feed. You may remember I am a 71 year old CIS male who has primary hypogonadism following an illness as a teenager. Two years ago I was diagnosed with low T and started Nebido 3 monthly injections. My changes were very intense to begin with, mainly mentally at first, as every aspect of my health suffered drastically prior to starting HRT. Your description of your changes is very much like mine. With one exception, to date no hair loss, but plenty of hair growth, both facial, and body hair growth. In fact now I have a much hairier body and face than I’ve ever had. Fat distribution will in future follow what is normal for men to have fat deposits on the abdomen and less on thighs and bottom. Muscle growth and increased stamina are normal when on T. Thankfully I now seem to not be able to notice any boost from my injections nor and waning towards when my next injection is due. An equilibrium which is great. One thing I noticed in the early days was I became quite impulsive and found that my libido was sky high, but now feel it has settled down to a level appropriate for me. A nice feeling of being more manly than before being on T when my libido was zero. Talking about your feeling of your age being older now, trust me, you don’t look your age, you look a lot younger. A handsome masculine man!
Thank you so much for sharing YOUR story. I happened across your YT channel some time ago and I find you so very interesting in the calm way you describe your journey. I can't imagine all you have had to go through, but I have the utmost admiration that you have decided to document the triumphs and sometimes the disappointments. I can only imagine you have made a positive impression for others that have or may join you in your life's journey and for those of us that that aren't on that journey, a wonderful chance to know more. Positivity, to you always!
Indeed, Transitioning matures you in so many ways. I heard many people getting calmer after HRT. I sometimes think it turned me into a boring person lmao like where’s my drama. Doe je goed daar! Leuke video’s! 🤍
For me i have been in T for 2 years and i have no beard😂 and am taking T short after every 3 months the proses i feel is very slow but i have to be pasient😂
Aw, happy birthday to your nephew! 🥳 (Wrapping a present: the struggle is real. 🫣) I've only been on injections, so I can't say for sure if switching was what made the difference or not. But most of my noticeable changes seemed to have happened about a year into T therapy. I'm also older though, that also may make a difference. Celebrating hair coming in is such a great feeling! Yours is coming in very nicely! I agree, bothered by the head hair loss, but it migrates to other areas lol Is Dutch sign language as confusing as the spoken language (in general) I've had a hard time learning American sign language from my deaf friends over here, and they always give me a thumbs up when I remember a sign for something. You're very active, that helps with not noticing as much fat redistribution. Muscle gets leaner which is nice! Personal question: don't answer if you're not comfortable with it: Can you reach your glutes to do your injections? I was hitting my nerves in my thighs so I switched to my upper glutes (hitting nerves) Less nerve pain once I switched spots. Going through second puberty isn't nearly as drastic mentally as the first one lol I love sharing my experiences in a safe space like yours for anyone who could benefit from them 👍 I know some of my comments have been blocked because of certain anatomy words, but that's alright as well! It happens 🤷
