This defense is going to be nasty. A lot of opposing teams are gonna find out their offense is just average or below after trying to get yardage on these boys.
Yeah, I’ve said that every year in the pre-season too. With the exception of a few Holtz and Spurrier years, I was shocked. In a bad way. Not letting myself get hyped up like every other year. If we don’t get 250 rushing yards against ODU, I’ll be pissed. Really nice to hear we can still play ball after a 3 min. TV break and after Sandstorm. Good to know. Also, good to know we’re getting better each week. But, we’re still not prepared to name a #1 QB two weeks before game 1?! Sorry guys, I’m just so jaded by decades of pre-season hype and then major disappointments that I’m not going to predict anything until I see it on the field. I would like to see more fierceness in Beamer’s demeanor but I’m just not seeing it. Nothing points to a great season this year. Inexperienced QB, terrible O-Line performance last year. I’ve seen experienced senior O-lines completely fail all year. Horrible D-dense from last year. No lead RB returning…Hope I’m wrong but it’s just how I feel.

Since Luke Doty can throw the ball... How about use him on a double pass play where he catches the ball from LaNorris, then chunks the ball down field to Nyck Harbor. Hopefully, they have this installed in their playbook.
Sellers is the guy but Ashford is a real solid, athletic guy that can help us as well. With a strong running game, strong OL it’s gonna be fun watching these guys operate. A feature back like Rocket forces opponents to load up. Big tight ends and speedy receivers opens everything up. Add to that QBs that can hurt you with their legs and it’s a wrap
Let’s be relevant again in the SEC and beat some ranked opponents first then we can grow from there. The talent level is fantastic and steadily improving yr to yr. Definitely headed in the right direction. Love the recent staff moves. Coach made some huge staff moves, all massive upgrades that will pay off
This team is gonna shock a lot of people this season, can’t wait to see it!
