Dude you ARE a rockstar. I just subscribed to your channel. This is the best debate I’ve ever seen. Only part I cringed at was Charlie’s insistence that all porn is wrong and it’s an objective moral truth. Not because of his stance but how he approached it. I could tell he was heavily triggered. I had to skip through some or it. But for the most part both of you were amazing

It takes human decency, intelligence & extreme courage to sit down and talk rationally with someone who holds views that you wholeheartedly disagree with.
Unfortunately, there is such a lack of civil discourse in this country right now & it's incredibly sad. NO AMERICAN should ever be hindered from expressing their viewpoints. It's the only way we can hear differing opinions, in order to grow and learn.

Social Media, and the fact that parents refuse to monitor their kids and what they watch, is why this is out of control. You are 100% right. Anime is a so called, "cartoons". They are grooming, confusing, sex-filled, LGBTQ+ promotions, mostly produced in Japan, to mind f*ck kids into thinking that these decisions are the only way to be accepted and make them "happy". Parents have allowed the wrong babysitters, to raise their kids. The sad part of it, is the parents who are sitting on their phones all day as well, are also being indoctrinated, seeing the fame these parents are receiving for having a "trans" or "LQBTQ+" child. So they push them along. Indoctrination is at an all time high in elementary through college and beyond. What did everyone expect to happen?

"and the supporters involved" I think this is where most of the problem lies. It's mainly virtue signalling and the opinions of real members of "the community" rarely have mattered in the last 4 or so years. My conversations with conservatives on the other hand usually start with accusations of "you must feel XXX way about XXX". If that conversation is via social media, they usually aren't going to listen or disengage halfway through. Unfortunately "helpful" people like to shut those conversations down. In person, though, that doesn't happen as much. For the record, I haven't encountered the extreme attitude from trans people I've known. Non-binary people almost without fail, but not from trans people. The reason you're not hearing from most of them is because they don't generally come out to straight people unless they feel they need to.

A true christian wouldn't change the word of God for any reason. As it is proven in the Bible, God is perfect, therefore he makes no mistakes. So if God gave you a body, which is described as his temple, and you butcher parts of it to become who you think "I should've been", it is a Sin, and you are acting as your own god. Because by doing so, you are thinking God did a mistake by creating you as a female and therefore you have to change it to appear as a male. I hope comes to Christ, but he must repent of his sins, change his ways, and follow Christ.

@marcocortes9968 saying God doesn't make mistakes is a cop out to remove human responsibility and accountability. God gave us our soul, and in his image is mankind. You're not LITERALLY in his image. Making is in his image... But if a child is born with a cleft lip or deformity because his mother was an alcoholic and wouldn't stop drinking while he was still in the womb you think God made him that way? No, God made his soul, his parents made him look that way. If a woman suffers brain damage from a car accident because she was hit head on by a drunk driver and has to spend the rest of their life in a wheel chair, unable to speak snd has to drink her food through a straw for the rest of her life... YOU THINK GOD MADE HER THAT WAY?!?! Where the fuck is free will in your little equation? God didn't make her cripple, the person who decided they wanted to get hammered and get behind the wheel of a car made her that way. He has free will to have those drinks. He had free will to get behind that wheel. She had free will to leave her house and go to Walmart or not... STOP blaming and crediting every single thing that ever happens to God. It's such a cop out and removes all accountability. "Oh it's not my fault I stabbed that guy in a bar fight.. the devil made me do it." "Must've gotten the devil in me when I molested that little girl, not my fault. Its all part of Gods plan." Little girls who get sex trafficked into LITERAL human slavery aren't there because "God willed it.. The God I believe in doesn't do things like that. My God loves me and all of us.. but there are consequences to giving humans free will.... that little girl was sold into sex slavery because some human beings choose to use their free will to be fucking EVIL.

They’ll create a fantasy world and say it’s true to me so therefore you’re wrong, even when you submit copious amounts of empirical data to completely show every angle of how wrong they are for their ideas and claims.
Yet they do not ever submit to losing an intellectual debate, they just dishonestly withdraw further into their enormous cache of weaponized strawmen and ad hominem attacks while targeting vulnerable minority groups, instead of looking to theirselves and their own shortcomings to resolve before they try to work on everyone else in society. And that ammo gets even crazier and crazier to where they’re attempting to use conspiracy theories to justify easy to see falsehoods. No, it’s the jewish space lasers making kids trans….
When Christians talk about a moral deterioration, they mean in themselves. We’d all be fine if they’d get their sh it together and stop trying to tell everyone else how to live and be when it doesn’t affect them whatsoever. They’ll throw up a ban on the existence of trans people to avoid having to talk to their kids about what a trans person is if asked.
      I think it’s interesting that Buck has the perspective of support for trans people but that comment about pregnancy I still disagree with; a trans man may have biological woman parts but is a man, so therefore we can socially acceptably continue to call that man a man & accept that a certain subset of men will have the *capacity* for pregnancy;
… and who is threatened by that concept? What a weak pathetic person would work to sow up ignorant fervor to eventually legislate against and not allow someone they dont even know to make responsible choices for their own health care they decide on, since you know.. freedom and liberty and all that.
No, we base our laws on our emotional outrage of white people and fox news talking heads let that interpret the world for us, we are just too dumb to make our own choices.
I agree with Buck it shouldn’t be a “one and done” thing, there should be guidance along the way for people that are interested in going through it, and I would be very curious to see these supposed examples from Kirk or anyone like Dimwit DeSantis of it being “pushed on kids” in school .
These psychos in FL literally made a law so teachers in Florida can’t even speak the word “Trans” without threat of the state coming down on them. It’s insane and it’s a blatant attempt to write them out of existence. That’s why they are happy to not let any “definitions” be adjusted or altered of words…
Btw, Charlie’s take on making things like porn illegal is INSANE. LMAO “children are being preyed on every day” - so go ahead and work towards rescuing some. I don’t see you doing anything but stroking your own ego with your name up in big letters while you talk a big talk and walk by sitting on your couch doing NOTHING.
He just is trying to target a group of people to make them responsible for what Chuck here and the GQP Christians think are the shortcomings of society or some broken pact with God when it’s just them pushing their own inability to not try to force their own lives on others that is the problem. It makes me sick.
Get your cult garbage out of government, and stay out of people’s heath care decisions! For a group that always whines about free health care would somehow make it worse with govt. involvement, he sure thinks they deserve to oversee reproductive bodily care and take away decision making by forcing outcomes pretty easily. Buck Angel has a good point. I'm a straight female. I was working in the Electronics Department of a store. I described the functions of the equipment to a male customer, answering his questions. He asked if there was anyone else with whom he could speak. My co-worker that day was male. He told the man everything I had said. My heart leaped for joy when my co-worker said, "I don't know why you called me out here. You taught me everything I know." I replied, "I just wanted the customer to be happy." So women are not always trusted for their intellect or abilities.

@@zuniga0331 I literally only see a little masculine guy when I look at Buck. Came across him on another show and was amazed at his honesty and logic. Finally a normal trans person and not one with tons of other mental health issues, no offense. But most trans ppl nowadays have lots of other issues going on and try to confuse it with gender dysphoria. Buck is a great advocate for young adults who don't feel comfortable in their own skin. And what I appreciate most about him, is that he understands how bad it is to transition kids too young. They need to be sure in what they are doing. This shouldn't be treated like a trend.

Genuinely surprised in the way this played out. Kudos to both of you for providing an example of a sane, civil, and truly chain moving conversation over transgenderism and for the first time, having someone from the Trans side not demanding that everyone buy in 100% to an illusion before being willing to be an equal at the table of discussion.
This is the way to bring people together in understanding around a very new to the masses way of exploring a path through life.

As a conservative, I find it very weird to see another person who calls themselves a conservative, but wants big government to step in and shut down porn. How about parents doing their job and shielding their kids from it. Same thing goes with drugs. Charlie, I just think you're so wrong on this subject. I just couldn't believe what I was hearing.

It’s much easier to shield kids from drugs/alcohol than porn. Speaking from personal experience, it was far to easy to get into a dark world of pornography and continue down the rabbit hole from a very young age, seeing as how most young kids have access to internet at a far young age

@@chubbycheeks75 that's fair. But if we can't depend on parents to know what their kids are watching, we might as well just turn over kids to the government now and get it over with. Everywhere I look in society, people are complaining about the government not doing enough for them and their kids. I just hate to see it coming from the conservative side

Perhaps you are thinking of the term 'libertarian' rather than conservative. There is nothing surprising to me about a conservative opposing porn, and even wanting to outlaw it. As conservatives tend to hold traditional moral views about sex, this is almost definitional to being a conservative. But even if we switch to the term libertarian, which I'm not sure Charlie has ever claimed to be, why should Charlie's opposition to government intervention in certain cases, such as in the economic sphere, imply that he should be against government intervention in this case? It seems as though Charlie is not simply approaching it from a kind of low resolution heuristic approach of 'government intervention is bad,' but is considering the morality of it in each particular case. In this case, it appears as though he feels that the harm inflicted upon children, who are often not yet able to understand the effects of pornography or restrain themselves properly, justifies the use of state power. Is there something contradictory about this position? You further point out that parents should shield their kids from porn. This would of course be ideal, but clearly this is not what is actually happening. So are we supposed to just have future generations of kids incur the brain and bodily damage from pornography because their parents aren't able or willing to shield them from it and hope that some time down the line the parents step up? If so, where is the morality in this, and what possible justification is there for it?

@@johnjonestheguy Trust me, I'm very much aware of what conservatism stands for and what libertarian stands for. I happen to be a libertarian conservative myself. The thing about morals, is that not everyone share the same moral positions. The conservative framework should be centered around state rights and small federal government reach. A reach which should stop at national defense, protecting the rights which are in the constitution and bill of rights, and foreign affairs. Porn does not violate anyone's rights. It is up to each family and state to determine which moral values and laws they wish to Abide by. One could make the same argument for many things which we allow in society which can be harmful but still protected under the constitution. There are many cases where children are abused by churches. Should we then trample on the protection of religion by shutting down all churches to make sure no kids are ever abused in one? No of course not. That makes no sense. Iv studied conservative philosophy for a decade. While I understand the temptation to take this path. I think it sets a bad precedent, which opens up a can of worms which will lead to much more control by the federal government. One where the cure is worse than the disease.
