I’ll be glad when our O-line works things out and the rest of the pieces fall into place (which they will). It’s so tiresome listening to people judge pieces of our offense as if everything else is normal and the lousy O-line play is not dragging everyone else’s performance down.
I totally disagree that Nico is regressing every game.... He regressed at Arky, but by the second half of the Florida game he was looking more confident and they literally were one play away, three different times, from blowing that game wide open.
Right. And, if you look at the tape, there is a strong to be made that Squirrel White was late breaking to go after that long ball by Nico that should have gone for an 82-yard TD. That said, Nico and his WR's must get on the same page.
With I pads on sidelines I'm not sure why he is having so much trouble once the game gets underway and the defense shows their gameplan. Would it hurt to set a series or two out to process without the pressure. Couldn't hurt
Nico is risk averse and in the Florida game he just over compensated on that tendency on the one throw. Moving forward, I think coaches need to help restore his confidence and help him take some risks while allowing for some mistakes.
I know! It’s so clear I hate talking about Tennessee. I mean, to create a 60-minute show, stretch it to 90, add another 60-minute show, and then build an entire studio and multiple sets just to create more content… that’s obviously the master plan of a guy who hates talking Tennessee football.
