Professor, Sparta is one of my favorite history topics to learn about as well as one of my favorite lectures when I was your student. I was always interested in the fact that the kids at such a young age were taught to never surrender. The rites of passages are really interesting as well for the test of their strength. So interesting what the Spartans did with the wine. Awesome video!!! 👏
The 300 hold an extra special place in my heart, probably because I'm Texan, and it strikes the same notes. I LOVED History Channel's "Last Stand of the 300" -- but, I have found that the History Channel is not trustworthy for getting its facts right. What they said did jive with what my college History Prof taught us. The movie was an abomination. (I was seething in the theater.) If you have seen the History Channel's production (which is FAR better than the movie, IMO), how did they do factually?

Yeah that movie was a blast to watch but very off historically. Remember, it was based on a graphic novel. Thank you for watching my video!
