Im mexican and my wife is from Shenzhen. We get stares all the time as its not common to see . And when we fight its hailarious we both curse in spanish and chinese😂😂 But we still get alomg and love each othwr no matter what. Its a cumtural shock believe me as both cultures collide but in the end , you male it both work.

I am an American who spoke Spanish at home with my Puerto Rican parents. I was at a dance and sat listening to the many conversations around me. I heard two male voices behind me who spoke Cuban accented Spanish. I turned around and saw no Cubans. Again the voices resumed. I turned around and saw two Chinese guys speaking Cuban accented Spanish. What a surprise. Their ancestors had moved to Cuba from China two generations ago.

Latin American countries can easily identify with the Chinese as they both shared the same struggles against foreign aggressions.
Other than Chinese, I speak some English, some Japanese, but never learned Spanish. However, I do know 2 sentences of Spanish. One is GRACIAS,
and the other one is
EL PUEBLO UNIDO JAMAS SERA VENCIDO!
And VIVA EL PUEBLO!
( If anyone counted 3 sentences instead of 2, you are definitely wrong because I'm Chinese so I must be very good at maths. 😆）

i'm happy to know that some chinese people have good attitude towards latin people. they're not wrong about latin americans having tanned skin, we also have a beauty standard that relies on it. but here in brazil (south america), we're mixed. so there are many white and black people as well

Kaho lives in China though. Not sure how she's gonna intervierw SE Asians. I am Southeast Asian. Maybe I can answer your question. One of my good friends is Argentinian and he's really kool. My favourite football player is Maradona. The beaches in Brazil are the best in the world, at least from the videos I have watched. The men look good and the women sexy.

They can be, but it depends, it's mostly because most Latin American people are mixed with Southern Europeans, it's where the Latin aspect of Latin American comes from.

When the Chinese man said "they talk English very fast." I as a Chilean can confirm. Because we are very Blitzkrieg to talk. And sometimes other Spanish speaking countries have nightmares talking Spanish. There is even a guide book that talks about talking in Chile and is called: How to Survive the Chilean Jungle.
I like your video, but I think the music is too loud. It doesn't let me as a non native speaker hear the words and distinguish the tones very clearly. By the way, if you could also write pinyin, that would be awesome.

Many of them think that we all have tanned skin, I think they don't know that in South America many are mixed race, for example I am a descendant of Spanish, Italian and Native American. by the way good video it was fun to know about the stereotypes they have about us
and some Latin American nations like Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, Uruguay and Colombia have a white (European) majority populations
One of them did say that Latina look no different from Caucasian girls, but that's just one of them. My personal impression is that most Latina are darker skinned and there are more men who are lighter-skinned.
@@thisiskevin1000 Do not confuse the term "white", it is an adjective used to refer to 100% Europeans, in Latin America any person with Caucasian features is considered white, which is wrong. keep in mind that the mixed race is a combination of 2 or more races regardless of which one predominates in the person. If both parents are 100% European then they can be considered white
@@VANADISORD”White” as a concept is stupid, because for decades, Irish, Italians, Jews and Polish weren’t considered “white.” So this idea that we can define and redefine what “white” is is absurd. Even in America these days, most “white” people have some African or Indigenous ancestor in their bloodline.
Fact of the matter is, some people inherit some traits while someone with a similar heritage might inherit other traits. Genetics are just weird like that.

A Peruvian guy here, married to a lady from Chongqing, China. She is hot, really hot (and apparently blind). Our cultures have interesting parallels (and verticals). We will have 2 kids (working hard on the first one, as we speak).

I think the protest in China is blown out of proportion by the media, and most failed to see that Chinese government actually listened to the protesters, hence the restriction is loosened and they may open up in the near future. Can you say the same about your democratically elected government?

ther term Latin has a lot of different historical connotations, uses and ambiguous meanings, and its not enough to define a very diverse multicultural region, because its an outside classification did not come from within.

Latin is short for Latin American in this context. Rarely used to describe Latin speaker.

@@鑰恩曨 It refers to inhabitants of Latin America regardless of language or ethnicity. You could be Asian, White, Black or Native and be considered Latin American if you have ties to the region.

Thank you for having a good opinion about us Latinos. This Columbian and Puerto-Rican feels the same way about all sorts of Asians. I don't know. I just feel like I can be myself around people of color especially Asians than I do with most white people who make me feel judged. I really never expected to have a Korean guardian angel who would bring me a wonderful Korean man who would turn out to be a great boyfriend. By the way, thank you for helping understand why some Chinese guys have been coming on too strong on Tandem the foreign language exchange app.

I think the main question is whether one is speaking of Latins from an American-centric perspective (where Latins are essentially Hispanics/Latinos) or European-centric perspective (where Latins include not just Spaniards, but also Italians, Portuguese, and French).
Latin is the english form of Latino.
Latin is too general of a term to define one group of people. For example, Italy, Guatemala, and Brazil are all Latin.

Guatemala, and Brazil are Latin, but these two are not Latin in the same way as Italy would be. Guatemala and Brazil are Latin American, and Italy is Latin European.
