I used to go there very regularly in the early 90’s as a kid when my family home was at Cosford. I went again last summer as I was working in the area and I was amazed by how much it had changed since then. Lots more information about. Good to see the haunted Lincoln bomber (from 3:49) is still there. 👍
Visited many times a great day out, lots of great exhibits some rare 👌
Thanks for sharing must get there one day, an overnight stay for me to get a good look round 😊
Great video. Looks like a super place to visit. I will put it on my bucket list !
I pass very close to this museum every month when I go to North Wales on the A41, really must pop in…..😊😊
I spent 4 years on QRA in Germany on B(I)8 Canberras and no sign of any of them in Cold War Hangar, what at shame. The Canberra was one of our best; serving world wide in the cold war, USA, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, and South America to mention a few. Great Video. Many thanks. Rmb5*
What an excellent vlog. Many thanks.
The vc10 needs to go under cover. And the hanger needs to be a big rectangle so the vc10 and other aircraft in it can be displayed properly.
The Cosford museum, great as it is and all praise for the time and effort made, could do with another display hanger, the Cold War presentation being somewhat overcrowded.
The Victor and Vulcan in particular need more space around them, the better to appreciate these superb aircraft.
Shame also that the aircraft parked outside will deteriate over time. Where is a Billionare that cares? Volunteer staff, you do a great job.
July 2024, where is the Bristol 188?
I have been told that there isn’t Tornado of either version in Cosford Museum.
Maybe I missed it but do they still have a TRS2?
I saw it there when I visited from Australia 3 years ago. Maybe ring them to check ? Cheers
@@stevetaylor9926 thank you Steve, I will act on your advise. Barry
Yes, TSR2 still in the main hangar

800 meters (half a mile) in 10 to 15 minutes is a very slow walk.
I get where he’s coming from, not everyone walks fast…..😊
It looked a lovely day why not enjoy the walk instead of rushing, thanks for taking the time to share this vlog.
