Great lesson. I’d mastered it a few years ago and then forgot about it, so a bit rusty. It’s not too hard but hard enough to keep it interesting and a lovely tune. Thanks so much.
You've got an official title card now, very nice. Thanks again Jon!
Well, I made it myself, but yes. The Foundation suggested I dedicate some lessons to tunes from the books, so I made a separate playlist, from my other lessons, which involve tunes in neither book. (There are a few demos of tunes in the books elsewhere on this channel, but they're just playing the tune through, not lessons breaking them down.)
Played perfectly, and explained clearly, great stuff Jon.
Hi Jon, I absolutely adore the two Jansch books you’ve helped transcribe and create. They’re really wonderful. Do you have any plans for future projects? A third volume? Have you considered a similar series on some of Jansch’s influences, such as Davy Graham? Many thanks!
Thanks - and good questions! I do have a list for a potential book 3 - as well as lots of spares! - but I think the Foundation's next plan is (or was) for a Pentangle book. I may or may not be involved in that, because it would be a more complex project, and there are one or two others interested. I have transcribed plenty of other players, but nowhere near to the extent of Bert. (I have maybe 4 or 5 of Davey's on file, a similar number of John Renbourn's, and 2s and 3s of dozens of other fingerstyle and blues players. Mostly just done for myself of course.
@@JonprileyThanks for getting back to me! That sounds exciting - I'll be sure to keep an eye out on your future projects.

The same model that Bert played, I think I’m right in saying? Very nice guitar.
