In January of 2003, three long time friends and former band mates (Emery, deBree, and Norman) decided to give music a second chance. The trio, formerly of Corridor, Ill Frequency, and Further, teamed up with guitarists Mike Bernier and Bret Shepard of Overhaul. After several months, Bret left the band leaving the remaining four members to round out the line-up.
Unscarred's sound is a culmination of blistering guitar riffs, melody driven vocals, methodical underlying bass lines, and a pulsating, rhythmic onslaught of percussion. Influenced heavily by the sounds of Life of Agony, Sevendust, Staind, Taproot, Korn and Tool, Unscarred delivers an emotional sound coupled with a high-energy show, guaranteed to please any crowd.
