  • Hey everyone! Build plans/Blueprints for the camper are now available for sale at www.brandoconk...
Please understand that the price reflects hundreds of hours in creating this UA-cam series and the build plans themselves. As always, thanks for the support!

The finish line is in sight! In this episode we install the windows and trim for the entire camper structure, and then give the roof a little bit of a paint hairdo--one that we will finish in the episode to follow...
Let me know what you think of the build so far in the comments below! I can't wait to share the final product with you guys.
Thank you to everyone who has been watching and subscribing; it really makes it much more worthwhile to get the positive feedback I have been, and again, I hope that this series is educational enough for others to embark on a custom camper slide-in or shell of their own!

DISCLAIMER: My designs are based off Casual Turtle Campers and the YT user @ENDGAME. I am a complete beginner when it comes to woodworking, or any DIY projects for that matter. However, after finding @ENDGAME's channel, I became obsessed with the idea of building my own; so I set out to do so, knowing it wouldn't be easy, but still believing it possible. My goal with this series is to hopefully prove to others (with zero experience, like me) that building a micro truck camper is possible no matter where your resources lie.
A full write-up (including excel sheets for my itemized budget; plus the downloadable 3D Sketchup model) is also in the works, which you will soon be able to find at my website: WWW.CONKTALES.COM

Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you like the build!

I’m shocked this build video series doesn’t have 100x the views. Great work on this. Hopefully one day I can y’all my wife into letting me convert our old tundra with those plans you worked so bard on.

Corner trims and painting the screw heads made a huge difference 🙌🏼

Great details and work sir! I subscribed! Thinking about a taller on for a full size truck. I had built one with 54 inch interior and bunks on either side in dinette fashion. Next one will be at least 60 inches and on full size have folks sleep east west on fold up bed to allow for more storage. Also designing two van like doors for full access. But great work my friend.

Appreciate the kind words, my friend! And thank you for subscribing, it makes it all the more worth it to know people are enjoying the series. That sounds like a solid idea for your next one--and kinda similar to mine, to be honest! I have 60" height at the tailgate, 44" at the cab; bed is 48x75", sleeps east to west. Will have a detailed video of my completed interior up in a few weeks once I've got the build series all posted.

Started looking at building my own, so just came across your videos. While the material from Endgame is helpful, your videos are incredibly detailed and specific on a lot of important details. Thank you! Did you consider a version in which you could fully stand? Wondering if by chance you have created plans for a taller version in which individuals can stand.

Looks awesome, great work! Id cut a couple more moisture drip notches. It does rain in SoCal and that morning dew can be thick itself, so when your just parked it needs some places to escape and not puddle. looking forward to seeing how you finish it out.

Thank you! Yeah, I think that's the move. I'm actually planning on doing a water test sometime in the next few days to determine the best places to notch them out.

Love everything you're doing there but Windows should add butyl tape behind them

I actually had never heard of butyl tape until after the build was completed, while watching another build series. Definitely wish I had done it, but will one-hundred-percent implement it on the next build. Appreciate the advice!
