It took me years of reading my bible, listening to the bible, attending bible study every week and listening to a lot of pastors to link these words to my personal maladies. Thank you for your compassionate teaching. Would you kindly pray about and teach on those of us who have lost sons and daughters to suicide or overdose. We are utterly crushed beyond words after believing for deliverance and healing for our precious children. I have lost 2. Both of my children were believers, yet struggled in this world from many life tragedies and pain.
Father God, we scream out Abba on our knees. Why? We as parents prayed beyond words. The enemy has broken the child. God lean not on your own understanding. Jesus the son was freely given to us as a sacrifice for our salvation. We (us and our children) belong to God. For our life is to glorify Him. How this happens is a mystery to us , yet it is God's plan. The children are the most precious to God. Sometimes he may bring them home so they don't suffer even worse evil. Or you. Please find peace in knowing your child is no long in severe pain, no longer an addict, no longer knowing the child has been ripping thier parents heartbto shreads. They do know that in addiction. In this experience you will go through the grief as explained in God's word. You must study this! In any unforgiveness, anger, pain, agony, etc. the only 1 that can help you is God and He meets you right where you are. Trust in Him with all your heart. Live on in this life to help serve another in the same situation. Serve one another. My 23 yr old daughter is in recovery, again. She has lost 12 friends to overdose. My best friend, my brother had a heart attack from drugs. While his wife nodding high wife left Him lay there dead for 17 hours. The pain is at times unbearable it took me almost 3 years to find peace and forgiveness. Keep praying and praying and reading the word and reading His word. Each day you will release bit by bit. Although certain dates will be unbearable. Daily it seems like it was just yesterday. I still cry in my pain daily in a second. Yet now it has been 8 years this past June 6th since his death. It is truly my 1st year I have found complete peace in knowing how he went through hell in the addiction. Now, not anymore he is in complete love and joy and peace. This is what He and God want for you, now. Find joy in knowing he is safe and you will be with Him again, as he was the day he was born. May the Lord shine His face upon you, may you be freed of the enemies lie of sorrow. May you grow closer to the Lord and let Him love you, intimately. May you believe your children are in the arms of the Father. All my love to you❤
He knows the end from beginning. He already knew every decision that we would make. That why he can pre destine us. He already knew every decision we would make before he formed us in the womb.
I hear that often, but if that is the case, then what is the point of even trying or praying if we’re already predestined to end up somewhere because he knew every decision would make and what would happen. For example, it’s easier for people to put Christ first be happy and make certain decisions when they come from a good family, they don’t have a lot of trials and they don’t have a lot of bad things happening to them. In my opinion, it’s unfair.
@@LatterDaySteph_ Only because your comment is kinda recent and I assume you may still be dealing with this question, the simplest answer is that God predetermining all things doesn't make life meaningless. In fact, it's our only security that everything will turn out the way it all should. God forbid someone other him was in control of everything! We pray because God told us to and because we don't know what God wills to happen until it does or doesn't and God works out his plan through the prayers of his people. Also, we are always dependent on God for everything, so to not pray is to rely on ourselves in which case we are doomed to fail, whereas when we pray to God we will get what's best for us even if we don't get what we ask for because God's plan is for the good of his people who trust in him and he uses even our sufferings to bless us by giving us testimonies and most importantly making us like Jesus, which we should all desire most of all. The Christian life is not easy for anyone who truly is a Christian even if God chose for them to have better health or richer circumstances than others because we all have to deal with sin and suffering in ways that money and health, which will expire, cannot fix. One of the biggest misconceptions about God is that he is fair which is not biblical. God's ways have nothing to do with fairness because God is not fair from humans' point of view or required to treat everyone the same and bless everyone to the same degree, but everything God does is right and our only consolation is in submitting to his wisdom and trusting with our lives, which is something we must constantly pray and read his word to do.
