I am using the Gradical HD and I am not getting the onboard camera information such as ISO on the Gratical. I am using HDMI. In order to get the infromation from the camera such as ISO through the gratical do I need to use SDI?

Hi there! This might be something the folks at Zacuto can answer more accurately, having made the Gratical HD themselves. We recommend reaching out to them directly to see if they can help. If you have any other questions about your EOS C300 Mark II, our team of experts will be happy to answer them for you if you give them a call at 1-855-CINE-EOS (1-855-246-3367). We hope this helps!

Hi jen, I notice my assigned button for one shoot focus is no longer working, no lens change, can you let me know if there is any features in the menu that could disable the one shoot focus feature? Thank you

Thank you again, Jem for the suggestion. Is there a lens compatibility chart for c300 mark ii, so I know which PL lenses work with c300 mark ii PL, say ARRI, RED lenses. Thank you Jem

What plate do you have in that Tripod head?

I don't like light on buttons, since in the dark I can only see the numbers and not the function, it should light button's description and the light button should be always on (otherwise if I can see it in the dark, I can see also the others).

Hello, last week, I noticed that I could not freely move my focus guide square anymore, it is kept in the centre. This is for c300 mk ii. I wonder if any of functions could conflict with moving the focus guide square freely. Thank you.

Hello! If you are using an EF mount lens you may want to check the AF switch on that lens. You may also want to check the AF mode on the camera to make sure that face tracking is not enabled. For more troubleshooting, Our US-based technicians are standing by to help you with this. Give them a call at 1-855-CINE-EOS (1-855-246-3367).

    Hello Jem,
I was shooting a short film last week and for the first time, i used Canon cine lenses prime 24mm and 85mm on my c300 mark ii.
One difficulty I had was the focusing. Since these are prime lenses, I don't get the focus square ring on c300 mark ii, instead, I only get a focus assistant ARROW on the view finder. I wonder if there is any options I can choose on the menu to focus better when I use a cine lenses?
    Thank you
    Jian

Hello again, Jian! The focus frame you are referring to is the AF Frame. In this case, you're using manual focus only lenses, so it isn't available. Our team of experts will be happy to go over manual focus with cine-lenses with you. You can reach out to them anytime at Canon.us/ContactYT We hope this helps!

      Hello Jem,
I have c300 mark ii EF mount, sometimes, I need to shoot with PL lenses, I wonder if there is an adapter I can use, do you have any suggestions? thank you

Hello again! While we don't have an adapter, standard industry practice for using PL mount lenses for a project when you have an EOS C300 Mark II with an EF mount is to send the camera to the Canon Service Center to have it converted to PL. It can later be converted back to EF if needed. Our support team can help you set this up. Please give them a call at 1-855-CINE-EOS (1-855-246-3367).
