He always kept his hands down. I imagine he punches hard enough. That it’s fine. But he was fighting in every direction. Excellent forward and backward fighting, excellent lateral movement and throwing. But after a loss he just stopped. He wouldn’t fight going backwards until he already hit the cage and by then it’s too late. He fought going backwards against Jiri and hit him clean. But after his loses he just goes forward hands down against people who are better strikers. If he goes back to athletic fighting, lateral movement, counter punching and stepping off after the first or second back step instead of just, walking straight backwards into the cage, he can still rack up some wins
My heart goes out to these fighters :( I can’t imagine the physical pain, Dom had to deal with the day after. It’s also accompanied with the emotional and mental trauma of losing in the most embarrassing way, in front of the entire world 🌎.

One fight can do it or too hatd in sparring. I've seen guys lose their chin in the chins in the gym. Train smart. Hope Reyes can turn it around.
With Reyes I see two things that led to his current skid. He was a lot more patient in his fights prior to Blachowicz and also used footwork and head movement. He also became overly aggressive and swung for the fences in those losses to Jan, Jiri and Spann. It’s like night and day watching his fights prior to the Jan fight, he shouldn’t have changed camps. Sometimes change isn’t a good thing in fighting.
