People forget(or are unaware) of Jones' run in the lhw division. He started young and was tearing through the rankings like anything, and none of them were bums. He defeated the older legends, his generation, and the upcoming ones(until 2020). it's just sad to see the shitty stuff now

As impressive as that was by Jones, I rate GSP higher because he belonged to that legends generation and then beat the next two generations after that. I felt like of the four above for Jones ^, only Machida had much of a prime
left after their fight. And then Jones really struggled with the generation after his (post-DC and Gus). This is regardless of PED usage

    This video has a mistake.
5:09 Liddell vs Evans was not a title bout. I believe it was a title eliminator bout. I remember because Forrest Griffin had the belt at the time who got it from Jackson who took it from Liddell. Chuck had just lost his belt and had he won this fight it would have set up a bout between "teacher vs student" , Griffin vs Liddell for the light heavyweight title. Aww man the 205 lb division use to be sooo stacked.

I hate it when they get super excited and throw a hammer fistInstead of an elbow. I know they’re excited. The come on where is the training come in here? Look at some of these flights the way they ended with a hammer fist and official diving in between them. The devastation would’ve been with the elbow. Hitting the floor in the shoulder and every once in a while a face shot will never ever make up for 1 to 2 devastating elbow shots. Depression has now set in.
