And look how much more competitive Weini Kelati was by this year? She won both the Mountain West and NCAA titles in early Dec.

Allie O. was wiped out! Dragging her away like a sack of potatoes (20:11). Way to leave it all out there Allie.

I enjoy the end when the runners look they are about two seconds away from passing out.

Logistical question: How do the finish officials/staff manage this traffic flow at the finish? This camera angle looks as if "clumps" of runners are finishing all at the same time....

No age limit for NCAA competitions. You have to be a student.

No age limit, but everyone has a max 5 year eligibility in the NCAA, XC, indoor and outdoor track can be counted as one year

It sincerely seems that now a days it takes "Foreigners " to take the individual and team NCAA Titles like New Mexico away from truly American born athletes and teams. New Mexico had four foreigners on this team recruited outside of the United States. What is fair game in these NCAA Championships just to win a Damn Title and deny native born young ladies a chance ?! This is occurring so frequently here in the states that it demises the fair and true essence of equal competition based upon home grown athletes and NOT foreign. I guess the question is, do you see NCAA as a stepping stone to professional running or it's own individual thing? Because at least for girls who want to go pro, this is who their competition is. They're going to be competing against foreign born athletes at world championships and the olympics, so why not in NCAA? Also, I wouldn't necessarily consider Weini 'foreign'. She went to high school in the US.
