Very enlightening video. God’s word never comes back empty. Unfortunately, how many do not take heed. May God have mercy on us and forgive us our sins.

Thank you very much. That was very enlightening. Many Christians focus on the New Testament and overlook the great work of the Old Testament that is so rich in Wisdom.

Great passage, Roy. Thank you for taking us through it! When I hear stuff like this from the Bible, reminders of how just God is, and how good, it becomes plain as day that this God is not a figment of someone's imagination. People have come up with all kinds of crazy beliefs concerning deity, this isn't one of those inventions. No one dreams up a God who is so darn good!

Thank you indeed Roy, as much as I thank God for having had UA-cam bring your channel to my attention here and now.
The prophetic section about Jesus is absolutely striking, Illuminating these days, 2000 years into the age of the New Testament, cryptic and/ or irrelevant as it may have appeared to the contemporaries of its making.

Thank you so much for your podcasts. We enjoy very much that you are giving a personal perspective from a Jewish convert to Catholicism point of view. Very thought provoking and extremely interesting to listen to. Look forward to your next video, God bless from Australia.

I’ve long felt the wisdom books are the bridge between the Old and New Testaments. Job for instance has beautiful poetry that strongly point to the resurrection. Love your insights.

"An unfortunate judgement" - quite an understatement for someone condemned, unless one regards it as related to Fortune.

I think Wisdom was titled 'The Wisdom of Solomon' but from what I've read was written around the year 200 BC or a little later, with the influence of the Greeks' writing about wisdom.

Thank you for your channel. I like your work and its presentation. You seem to possess humility and sincerity. And it takes courage to combine those two in putting yourself and your thoughts out there. Kudos.
And yes, the Father sees all! Our now and all now’s are his seems to be the way Eleonore Stump puts it. She is a philosopher/theologian at St. Louis University; prolific, interesting, and respected; and who seems to be a devout Catholic who converted to Catholicism from her Jewish upbringing early on in her academic formation (I think the latter accurate as to the when. She is relatively new to me but a nice start!).
Sirach 15: 14-19 is a fave of mine. [19] For the Wisdom of God is great, and he is strong in power, seeing all men without ceasing. DR
    God bless.

It's about 2,200 years old, one of the last books in the OT. The Jews don't accept it as inspired, just as Protestants don't, yet, it has one of the very best prophecies of Jesus!

I hear that many Jewish people don't accept the Wisdom literature as inspired, perhaps because it speaks of life with God after death in this world.
