I henna my hair for the 1st time ever! These videos were taken on Tuesday 20th January 2015. The turnout's very subtle but noticeable. I really liked how it turned out! I left the mix in for 1 hour. But the next time I'll leave it in longer to see if I can get a stronger effect!

I have always had a great interest in nature and photography. During the higher education in Art and Design foundation course I tried my hand at photography and the darkroom process. That then lead me on to my interest in photography; subsequently this lead to me enrolling onto HND Photography course so I could gain more knowledge and skills. To increase my skills and chances of further employment I enrolled on a BA Honours Creative Imaging. My other interests also include taking videos and documenting various public events via videos whilst away and at home.
How long do you have to wait to use chemical dyes after using henna? Til it grows out or couple months?
I like your accent. Belfast?
Thank you! Yes I'm from Belfast. 😆
+The Ultimate Variety Channel™ I recognize the accent from watching "The Fall". Hehe
So is henna an herb? What is the block made of? Is it the same stuff they use for henna tattoos? And is this to permanently dye your hair or to just give it moisture, shine and a tint of color?
Ashley Hunter Yeah it's all herbal based. It's permanent, so if you don't like it you'll have to grow it out. For dark hairs it's a tint and for blondes and light hairs it's a colour. It helps your hair to stay healthy as well.
I thought you can't let henna touch any metals..
That's just a lame myth.
Yes ! And it's only for henna that's not 100% pure
