How do you update an existing memory with different settings - I tried selecting a memory, making minor changes (like CTCSS Tone) and then long pressing the A>M button, but it just deletes the memory and then switches to memory No1. Not useful.
C.S Button Press this button momentarily to directly recall a fa- vorite Menu Selection. m To program a Menu selection to the C.S button, press the MENU(SETUP) button to enter the Menu. Select the Menu item you want to set as the short cut. Press the C.S button, then press the MENU(SETUP) button; this will lock in the se- lected Menu item as the short cut.

@@frankwc0o it is when i try to recall the channel after hitting mch it doesn't always seem to work. even thou i have mem in the top left corner, sometimes it is like it is in mem check mode as the lines will show up on the bottom with what is in mem instead

Is it possibility to ft991a scanning between frequency 144.000Mhz to 146.000Mhz repeat this ? Bjarne OZ1BCR

Why is your red pen blinking?
It’s a reflection from the cameras blinking light. I noticed that before. It could be distracting. I think it’s called a tally light.
must be doing something wrong. doesn't work for me. the mem number in top left will change but not the freq...
Are you sure you are in VFO mode? Or making sure there is a blank space where you want to add the frequency?
