Currently operating on a DX10 and FTM300 at home but I wanted an all-in-one to take along while my wife and I adventure with the camper (also, I'm a two is one kind of mindset so it's relieving to have the backup). I have a 991A on the way and I'm curious...after you place the TAG on a mem slot, is there a way to make the TAG appear on screen when the channel is selected? Nice video...thanks!
Only reason I want a 991a is because of 2 meter sideband. For 2 meter FM, I still plan to use my Kenwood 281a with 65 watts. The 991a only does 50 watts on 2 meters and 70 centimeters. I'm also wanting to upgrade from my Kenwood TS-430S so I can also do 6 meters. 73 W Rusty Lane K9POW in eastern Tennessee
Thank you for taking the time to watch and the comment! It is greatly appreciated. I use channel 15 for the CLARA repeater so that all my radios remain programmed the same, be they hand held, mobile or desktop radios.
