  • G'day guys, Angus, Grumpy & I have an in depth look at what skills are a must have for different terrains - This isn't to say we have these skills, and where we do, we certainly haven't mastered them. Hope you enjoy :-) Cheers... Mark

Tell grumpy I'll let him know next time I bring hayabusa through Bendigo.
Pod casts are like watching 3 versions of me talk.

Grumpy you hit the nail on the head, the 660 Aprilia is great ,all top notch components low centre of gravity tubles Tyers and brilliant handling. All reviewers are blown away how good they are. I’m keen for my next bike.

Greetings; It is very important to talk about Rider Safety; I am a Defensive Rider, I take responsibility for my safety, bike position on the road is important, looking ahead, noting other road users; careful use of Lane Splitting, wear bike gear that is colourful and wear full protective gear, Summer and Winter; I am comfortable riding in the rain, Thanks for the Podcast, Big Hello to Santa Arnaud... David....Adelaide/Kilburn....Triumph Scrambler 1200X....one bike for all!

Got a Tuareg - it rocks! Best adventure bike out there!! As for dirt tradition in Europe? Where have you guys been??🤓Have a look at the entrant list for Dakar.. The Himalayan was once (accurately) described as "looking like a piece of haunted furniture"....I gotta agree. 😃 Got an idea about "skills" to help with riding - and this won't be popular while you're faggin' away and on the grog 🤣🤣 - fitness. Kind of a skill.....more of a characteristic...but really helps. Keep your fitness level up and lotsa stuff gets easier...

My two bikes would be a Beta 500 RR-S and a Tiger 900. Single bike would be the DR650.

As touched on in the twisties section of the podcast, do a track day if you get an opportunity. It's amazing how much you will learn about your bike's handling and your ability to choose fast lines safely. It translates onto the road really well and many will find that they can ride safer, faster and with less effort and fatigue.

Mark… what changes have you made to the audio?
    It’s not for the better.
To make sure it wasn’t just my ears playing up (they do that sometimes) I went back to a couple of past episodes & they were crystal clear to this “hearing impaired” listener.
    This episode seems very muffled.

Himalayan 450 is an awful looking bike. The tank looks like a k9 adult toy.

There's a good chance the Ballarat women that went missing/dead was hit by the young guy on his motorbike or 4x4 speeding on bush tracks, so expect a backlash.
