- 60+ Crosswind Landings ft. Many Heavies like 747's, A350, B777, DC10, MD11, A310, A300 and a lot of A330's/B767's in Philadelphia, PA, USA during the 2019 easter weekend. The wind direction was almost 90° off the main RWYs direction for two days in a row with windshear reported, making the landings pretty interesting. In this video you can find some landings on 27R, 27L, 09R and even a few ones on 17. Which aircraft did you enjoyed the more in this compilation? Thank you guys for watching and I hope you enjoyed the video! :)
It is crazy that some airlines do not use these models of planes anymore. It is also crazy about these airlines that don't fly some of these routs anymore.
Looks like you caught the iconic British Airways 747 in retro BOAC livery. AWESOME!!! Boeing 747, I love you!!!! Nice Lufthansa Queen 747 too
Thanks! I really enjoyed seeing those 747's :)
Wish I could've seen it since they aren't in service anymore😓
2:23 geez what a butter landing
Philadelphia Airport seems to be an airport where you can see many types of airplanes.
I was lucky enough to see 3x B744!
you would think so, but now with the pandemic you hardly get to see anything that isn’t American Airlines
17:53 love the retro Boeing 747 -436 from british airways
I been to Philadelphia International Airport before, a couple of months ago, when we went on a American Airlines Boeing to visit Hersheypark.
American Airlines landings look BUTTER!
I can’t believe in 2019 BOAC was flying even some old liveries were coming
boac is long gone lmao. its a special livery from british airways.
Qatar A350 or 777-300ER, BA 744, Lufthansa 744, 748, or A340, BA 777-200ER, American 757, Icelandair 757, Qatar 777-300, and Delta MD-88s are always my highlights when spotting at KPHL.
Oh and Aer Lingus 757, UPS 744 or 748, UPS MD-11, FedEx MD11. Other than that it's 767s and A330s everywhere, which is nice of course.
Very nice compilation from Philadelphia, I haven't seen too many spotting videos from this airport before. That BOAC 747 is a beauty!
Thanks a lot man! That is a very cool 747 :)
@@YQBspotting you into the airport yet.
Really awesome footage!! PHL is a wonderful airport for watching planes.
Thank you! It is a cool place for Plane Spotting :)
i'm lowkey jealous. my local airport that i go planespotting at every once and a while, and all i ever see is american airlines and maybe a southwest and a delta.
At 18:09 woah that is epic
4:50 so cool
Stunning compilation buddy!! Really good work, nice smooth footage and awesome catches :) Well done!!
Thanks a lot Mylos! :-D
January 16th I flew from Lubbock, Texas to Roanoke, Virginia after connecting on American Airlines in DFW, Texas which my other connection was in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on American Eagle to Roanoke, Virginia which wasn't a bad airport (Philadelphia). Took ground shuttle to Terminal F which was great able to see the planes at ground level from the shuttle bus.
What was you favorite one in there was it the a350 or the a330 ,767 , 777 a300 ,757 , or the 747 I love them all
747 for me :)
Thanks
Great video! I remember watching this when you released. Still miss those British Airways 747s
Thank you :-)
This is great camerawork and captions. It’s amazing that you know all the regional carriers and aircraft sub-models.
I'm using some websites and apps to make sure the infos are good. Thanks for the comment :)
always nice to see the U.S. Airways livery...
It is! There is only one remaining... (that A321 at the beggining)
Great video. What camera? Tripod?
Thank you! No tripod and Sony AX-53 :)
DC-10 is my favourite. I wish more were still flying. Good video
Same here, thanks man!
WHat's the best day/time at PHL for planes arriving?
I don't think there is a specific day but I'd say between early and late afternoon/evening it should be pretty interesting :)
Nice one! Loved the BOAC retro jet! Sadly didn’t see them at ORD last weekend, but maybe I’ll get to see one of them soon!
Cool, thanks for watching :)
Really awesome compilation mate! I enjoyed it so much! Liked!
Thanks so much mate! :-)
40:02 so cool
That plane is parked there because it front landing gear broke
@@bradyc9120 I thought that was the Hudson plane
Great video! This is the airport I spot at and if you ever come back check to see if there are any arrivals at 9 R because the planes are like 70ft above you.
Thank you :) If you look at the end of the video, there is some 09R arrivals included. I really enjoyed the location btw!
Great spotting video. I enjoyed it all thanks for making and sharing it.
Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed :)
Where are you spotting from? Awesome video!
Thank you! I was on Fort Mifflin Road.
Cool, i was there a few days ago but couldn't find any spots to actually see them touch down.@@YQBspotting
I went plane spotting at Philadelphia International Airport is was cool I saw a330 and others ✈️✈️✈️
Have a question, where did you take this from? I’m looking for new places.
Hi! Most of the shots in this video are from Hog Island Rd.
Love the BOAC old school livery. BEA Trident next?
Where did you sit? I always get chased out by Airport Security Patrols
For most of my spotting, I was standing on Hog Island Road. Plane watchers are usually tolerated by Philadelphia Police/Airport security at this place.
Great video. Where did you park?

Thanks so much! :)
Julio
2:48 Didn't realize American was still flying the U.S. Airways livery after the merger.
This is the very last US Airways livery remaining!
I was surprised too.
It’s one of their retro liveries
Yup they also have 1 silver bird, 1 TWA, 1 Air Reno, Alenghy, America West, Piedmont, Air Cal and PSA
MaxFlight i was thinking the same thing

Thank you!
Good job
Thank you!
BOAC 747 at 18:10, don't see those everyday!

Why was that person honking at you for
She thought I was taking pictures of the Sunoco buildings in the background (which I was not) lol. I think she was working for Sunoco security.
@@YQBspotting oh
This is so satisfying
Thanks for watching!
I was spotting at Phl airport today
Hope you had a great spotting day!
Where is the best spot?
@@ris676 im the owner of the account that commented this, the best spot is the corner on the bottom right of the airport on the road
Love everything about this video, amazing work 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Thanks a lot! :)
Nice video mate, liked!
Thanks mate! :)
4:50 Sun Country new service YEAH BABY
I think it was their 2nd regular MSP flight! :)
Where were u spotting from?
Hog Island road.
Wow! Fantastic video. Great camera work.
Thanks a lot! :)
YQBspotting you’re welcome. :)
Nice video, not enough heavies for me.💯
Thank you!
Wait that that us airway is by t that is amerian
The US Airways A321 is actually a special livery. American Airlines operate it of course but they will keep this paint scheme since its the very last one with it (still flying).
Thx for you message 😊
What part of the airport did you go to? I’m thinking one day I’ll be going to PHL to plane spot.
I was standing on Hog Island Road for most of the shots, this is the best place for spotting.
Thanks! By the way, this was a great video of yours, keep up the great work!
Thanks man! :)
Go to the entrance to Fort Mifflin. You can stay there for a bit and the planes are directly overhead less than 200 feet. And then down Hog Island Rd. for 35 arrivals too,
Where was this at
I know at phl but like where at phl
I was standing on Fort Mifflin/Hog Island road.
I missed my flight from Philadelphia to dallas
6:04 love frontier airlines
No offense it’s one of the worst airlines in my opinion
Yes it’s the worst one screw you alexandra
what soot is this???
British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) livery.
@@YQBspotting sorry i meant spot 🤦♂️
Hog Island road!
great video
Thank you! :)
Nice video mate
Thank you! :)
And Imma sub as well
39:56 It's Captain Sulley!
6:20 was united not mesa airline
Its Mesa Airlines, the livery doesn't matter who operates it for most of the US regional airlines.

39:34 i thought they don’t fly to Philadelphia
I saw that plane take off
Me too
I only saw them at Allentown International
Allegiant doesn't have any regular flights in PHL, that was a military charter from what I saw. Lucky catch!
