Awesome compilation, that's impressive to see the massive line waiting for departures! Cool you got to see a bit of Air Canada and WestJet action while you were there :-)
I happen to live outside of LaGuardia Airport. I used to walk there all of the time until the construction started. As a tall kid, I used to always go to the observation deck; it was i think 25 cents to get in. Then I would spend up to $3 in quarter for the coin operated binoculars... See, that's the perfect place to plane spot (the length was between Concourse A-D) but not anymore. Its been taken over by the many airlines clubs.
Nick Hadel it’s really not that steep it just appears as so because the spotters distance from that aircraft. Plus the MD 90 is such a long aircraft it appears that way,
i live in brooklyn and have wanted to go to planeview park for a while. I subscribed to your channel and love it! and your my first subscriber because im 11 years old
I just love your work. Including the specific make and model of each is a nice touch. Though I love the bigger birds, overall I love watching the MD's and Bombardiers (I mean the ones with engines aft) as they climb out. They look like rockets going straight up!! Like a boss! Lol. Thank you for your work. Thought I was subbed - wasn't - am now!! :)
I sadly arrived a bit after the United 757 departure to Denver that day... I also really enjoyed my time spotting there, I saw some landings videos and it looks amazing :)
Great stuff! Sweet camera pos, nice tracking. Your JFK footage was outstanding, too, particularly the inbound shots in that wooded area. JFK footage is usually shot from a distance, and past efforts by others have been spotty at best. I also love your use of ATC -- it really gives us the character of the airport itself. If you could, please include the "clear for takeoff/clear to land" calls with your footage. if there's too much of a delay, that's cool, but it'd be great if you could add that element. Otherwise, spot on! Keep on doing it!
Thank you very much sir! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed my NYC videos :) About the ATC,I always try to get the Landings/Takeoffs clearances as much as possible but I'll try to get more next time thanks for the advice.
I’m from Long Island, my father took me to Mets games as a child and Shea stadium was at the end of runway 13 just across the water. He would laugh at me because I was more interested in the planes than the game. They would take off and bank over the stadium still so low you could read the registration. When landing they came in with a bank to the right last min to line up for the runway. Anyone who has ever flown into LGA knows how tight and steep the turns are comes into or leaving the airport. Also with the short 7k foot runways it’s a fun airport to fly into. Unless there is bad weather than you will sit forever.better yet, get bad weather during peak times. I have even been on a delta flight to Atlanta where the weather was bad around DC and the Midwest with beautiful weather in NY and everything was so backed up that we pulled out of the takeoff line and shut down for 45 min. Was before 9/11 so me and my little brother went up to the flight deck of a MD-88 and were talking with the pilots. They were laughing at my questions because they were so surprised with my knowledge of aviation. Good times. No more flight deck after leaving the gate these days.
I kept waiting for the traffic to die down but I don't think it ever did.😋 Wow how can one area have so many busy airports. Is me or is that airport too small.??
I heard flying from LGA was a disaster, I think they're building a new terminal but I'm not sure. It is sure a very busy airport for 2 runways (who are crossing)!
airplanedude no, not really. It's very normal for a Mad-dog to have a steep rotation. Also, runway 4 is bumpy so when the pilot rotated, the runway looked flat and the rotation of the plane looked like it had a tail strike.
I really appreciate the captions stating the airline, type and destination. Thanks! The only thing that could make it better is to state the registration number. Quick question: if you counted, do you remember what the maximum number of planes in line was?
Thank you so much! I was writting the registrations on my previous compilations but I thought people were not interested...Thanks for your advice! I sadly don't remember exactly as there was 2 line-up but maybe 20-25 I would say :)
Thank you Russell! I advise you to go to LGA instead of Newark for the better locations and the security. Plane spotting in EWR is risky as the security suspect terorist by taking picture/videos of the planes so its easy to be kicked out of there in a savage way. LaGuardia security is spotter friendly and that very great location where I recorded all those videos is right here : www.google.ca/maps/place/Planeview+Park/@40.7681906,-73.8882533,1267m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m13!1m7!3m6!1s0x89c25f8983424db5:0x772fc4660e9666b3!2sAeroport+international+de+La+Guardia+(LGA)!3b1!8m2!3d40.7769271!4d-73.8739659!3m4!1s0x0:0xcf4dc75f040264ae!8m2!3d40.767237!4d-73.8850898 If you still want to spot in Newark, I can give you the best locations if you want :)
@@YQBspotting I'm a flight simmer did some spotting at Republic recently, but mostly GA action there, or business jets. This spot looks like a great place for time-lapse video. So many planes taking off, just amazing! Great video...
I agree! Thanks for watching :)
ive taken many timelapse videos here its crazy
Been flying an Eclipse 550 lately in XPlane11, what a beautiful VLJ. Flies like a dream. Wonderful GN 750 nav. computer built-in too.
Great video about plane spotting! This is the best video I have seen in a while! Congratulations!
Thank you very much! :)

its amazing how steep the m90's incline is.

US Airways and Spirit were my favourite, and of course the Mad Dogs!!! Very good spotting from LGA, big like :)
Thank you so much buddy! :) Are you spotting in Toronto this summer?
Sadly not :( but maybe next year!
Canadian Plane Spotter choklllllllpppppppppppp

The line-up for takeoff was epic. My favorites were the Bare Fare Spirit and Trump's 757- you were luck to see that!
I was pretty happy to caught the 3 Spirit liveries & I agree for the line-up! Thanks a lot :-)
Same, lol.

Amazing Planespotting compilation man!! Great view on those amazing aircrafts and nice camerawork as well! Liked and subscribed ;)
Thank you very much mate! I subbed back :)
YQBspotting no problem, it was my pleasure! :) Thanks a lot!
I really liked JetBlue's A320 at the end honoring the NYFD. The old Spirit livery looks a lot like Allegiant Air's livery!

I've heard planes have to sit on the runways forever here. Nice video.

Cause Jetblue aircraft have a few different tails and some looks cool :)

Thats a very nice aircraft! I really like the MD-80's :) Thanks for watching!
Did you require a step ladder here to see over the fence, a fantastic film aswell
Thank you very much Thomas :) If you have one it could be a great idea to bring it cause I was actually standing on a bench during the whole video.

Delta photobomb at beginning and holy crap

i was just about to comment on the plane at 3:46 bloody hell i wouldn't wanna be on that thing

My home airport, I love LGA
Does anyone know what the small 'hump' is atop the rear fuselage, on some of the B737s and A320s?
I'm not sure but I think its related to the on board internet connection...
too think that L1011 used to takeoff from LGA. nobody bothered you? I used watch them from the fence by runway in the 80s.
That’s how it was back in the day. Now you can’t even do that without a police officer pulling your ID and possibly arresting you.
Great video!
Thank you! :)
They fly super low over Astoria Blvd coming in. The runway is right across the boulevard..
It must be impressive to see them while driving!
Did you use a 400mm lens with video stabilization?
no I'm not :)
When I went there in June there was a tree in the way. Did they remove it or did you stand on one of the benches lol?

What’s that ”pod” added on some planes?
If I understand what you are talking about it is added to get Wi-fi on board I think.
It is a WiFi box which enables WiFi on board. This can be found on most Boeing 737 type aircraft

Does this airport serve just internal US flights?
USA and Canada only from what I know!
Yes LaGaurdia is New York’s internal airport while JFK serves around the world

When were the US Airways livery changed
5 years ago I'd say since they merged in 2013.
BEAUTIFULL VIDEO"""

16:30 wow that American is rare is it the retro?
27:30 29:30 rare US AIRWAYS
30:30 rare Virgin America
At 16:30, this is the previous (old) American Airlines livery before merging with US Airways (also featured as mentionned). Virgin America, at this time, was not rare (regular flights) but they are now gone since they merged with Alaska.
Is Boeing still making new planes? Couldn't tell from this video.
They are but in this video there is any very recent Boeing aircraft featured.
Yes Boeing is working on new planes and recently brought the 737 max 8 and working on the max 9
VERY GOOD VIDEO
Thanks man! :)
Can you make a Video with all takeoffs on Video?
What do you mean?
Wait, doesn’t virgin America not fly to lag?
Not anymore.
Runway 4 hmm a certain US Airways plane took off from there too didn`t it?????
Yes they did took off from 04.
South West Chicago Midway thumbs up
No landings ? 🤔😕😟
Runway 31 was used for landings and 04 for takeoffs sadly...
