Great video. Timken hub for my Silverado is $180 everywhere but Ebay, where it's $80. Sure enough, pictures in the auction show all of the details you warn against here.
Yep, not worth it. I ended up with a Moog and it's really nice. Made in Korea (like Timken and Delco). Has a heat shield on the wire leading to the sensor. '17 2WD. @@danieloneill4322
@wakkogn9351, thanks. I wish Timken would do a better job cracking down on the fakes by submitting copyright complaints to retailers. SKF seems to be trying to stem the tide of fakes more so than Timken.
Bought a pair from Amazon, and one from home depot. Both were priced at 118 plus tax for my 2011 sport wagon Acura TSX, no teched markings on the outer edge of the bearings, and box is not even sealed by a mere tape that will cost Timken a pretty penny. Timken should redesign on how they package their products are sealed. Any person can easily swap a Chinese made same model bearing for their original. Still searching for the real one.

Just got a fake one for my Tahoe from EBay. Same yellow box and bearing looks nothing like Genuine Timken bearing. Sending it back.
