It's been 1 and a half years since I've watched this for the first time, it never gets old to me. I can only get around 20-30 perfects on this now but still, for a video that's about 4 years old, this is probably one of the best Stepmania videos I've ever saw. Amazing job, Izzy.

I just got back into stepmania. My friends and I were obsessed with it back in high school (class of '06). It's crazy how many great memories are attached to some of these songs. I'm really happy I rediscovered stepmania, but at the same time it's kind of a downer because I hear some of these songs and they instantly make me miss my old friends. Getting older sucks....

I feel the same sometimes. I played this game so much at school that i even got some of my friends to play as well.
Playing the same songs i played even though they weren't playing expert charts like i was, it was still so much fun.

Damn, even years after watching it for the first time, I am still impressed... God I wish I could play like this. It's been years since I stopped Stepmania and now I seem to have problem once BPM reachs 180-190 (Like Emerald Sword or many Dragonforce songs) my brain kinda doesn't follow as well as before ._.

+Chrometheus I wouldn't call it comprehension exactly. At least for me, it's more like a reflex. I see input information at the bottom, and know when to respond by the time it gets to the top. There's not enough time to think.
+IzzySM Blast from the past! Were you any good with Vertex Gamma? I sadly lacked the stamina to really deal with it lol. But for Beta, I recall FCing at least, maybe a AAA or two. Lots of opportunities to mess up though.

At the options screen right after you start the song you can choose "Noteskin", change it to whatever you want or download new ones, I usually just use the one named "Note" instead of ex. Default.

wow nice man, where did you get the stepfile for this song? I've looked ever where for it and can't find anything for vertex beta.
I don't get how 2 fingers can move that fast...I've played Stepmania for over 4 years and can probably AA with 4 fingers but I have no idea how you do it with two. Do you use mainly your wrist or try to keep the fingers low and just use the muscles in them?

I did have a lot of free time, even though I did go to school, atlethics 5-7 times a week and practiced the piano. I work a full time job now so there's no way I'll be able to redo this without practice again. Would've been nice though..

as for songs that seem impossible (berzerker songs, dragonforce songs) do you recommend slowing the song speed to like .7 speed to get used to it and slowly work it back up to 1.0 speed? It's what i did to learn how to stream my arrows with Delirium when i started playing, but is there another tip?

Does using a usb keyboard have better response on hitting the notes, cause i have a keyboard that has a purple plug and it seems harder and slower response? And what keyboard do you use?

If I would use autoplay, I wouldn't be able to "ghost tap" before and after notes. Check around 0:33 to see that the arrows on the screen are reacting to my keytaps. :)

What could be a problem is that I've only seen this in Sweden (I doubt it's the Sweden Only though), and it costs around 20 USD. I'm not sure if the store send them outside of Scandinavia, or even Sweden, so if I get enough people that wants it, I could probably buy a few, then send them myself

Izzy, I have a couple questions to ask you, I am having computer troubles along the lines of lag, framerate, and keyboard lag. May I ask you what keyboard you use and what you use to boost your computer's performance, i.e. is it the better graphics card, ram, etc.

Hey izzy, i used to watch your vids years ago, now i use a spread format, but i feel it limits me, if you don't mind sharing it, whats your key base? like for e.g i use gh-kl (left for the gh) and so on for the other hand, it may be of use to improving my level from getting a on vertix alpha to maybe aa/aaa's.
It's made by HST, you can find it on one of my websites (fileserver), and then going to the folder called "Random Files", and you will find it.
You know how I know this is old? lol The big block 4:3 monitor. I remember because I had one too when I played. When everything went to wide screen, it ruined my skill almost entirely. There is less vertical distance on a widescreen, so the timing I had learned over the years was off by a lot. I've not played in a long time but those were some good days. I played with you a time or two, if I recall! Two Izzys though, who knows lol

well have you have tried the PS/2 keyboard with the purple plug, or do you just think its the same, because with usb u can hit more keys at same time and i think it works better.
