Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a 2017 action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. It is a standalone expansion to Uncharted 4, and the first Uncharted game not to feature protagonist Nathan Drake. Players instead control treasure hunter and Nathan's old friend, former love interest and associate Chloe Frazer, who seeks the Tusk of Ganesh in the Western Ghats mountain ranges of India in the midst of a civil war, with the help of ex-mercenary Nadine Ross and Nathan's brother Samuel Drake all the while coming into conflict with Asav, a ruthless warlord and his army of insurgents.
Like other Uncharted games, Lost Legacy is played from a third-person perspective; players use firearms, and can use melee combat and stealth to defend against enemies. Players solve puzzles, incorporating several platformer elements to advance the narrative, and navigate the game world on foot or by vehicle.
Development of The Lost Legacy began soon after the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End in May 2016. It builds upon gameplay elements established in previous Uncharted titles with its more open-ended gameplay. Chloe, a supporting character who first appeared in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, is the focus of the game, with the story, design and gameplay elements reflecting her character. Claudia Black, Laura Bailey and Troy Baker reprised their roles as Chloe, Nadine and Sam respectively, through voice and motion capture, and assisted writer Josh Scherr and creative director Shaun Escayg with the development of the characters and story. Critical response to the game was positive.

And I know it is a game, but then if it is being set in a country where is the accuracy in it? If it's US then it is a mercenary group, but if it is India, then it is the Army?! How is that fair? PlayStation's CEO, Jim Ryan, already confirmed over a year ago that another Uncharted is in the works. It became evident when Tom Holland took up the role to Play Nathan Drake, and then they made a special announcement at the Gaming Awards where the voice of Drake made an appearance followed by Tom Holland. Business wise, even if Jim Ryan didn't state it, it would be a major miss-fire, miss opportunity, to not capitalize on another game from the movie starring Mark Wahberg as Sully and Tom Holland as Drake.

@@jase276 The lead writer left during *Uncharted 4,* which was revamped around the new writers. Also, a year later, *Uncharted Lost Legacy* came out, which was also a great success! Besides, it's not like the old days when only one person writes an entire game or movie script. Nowadays, it's an accumulation of talent - a team of writers.
Business-wise, it's genius, because the people that's been working with the main writer have already tapped into the person's electron patterns, and thought process on, "I think she would've done it like this," and the show goes on. In other words, the collaboration, and team, fill in the missing pieces to which there isn't much change to the game or movie. At any rate, my gaming hunger for both Uncharted games was satiated!

What I learned from Uncharted Naugthy Dogs studio, they've have used the same engine from Uncharted 1, brought some changes in the motion and assets and used it again. For example most of things that has been done in UNCHARTED 2, 3, Golden Abyss has been mixed inside the Uncharted 4 plus with new stuff.

EXACTLY what i thought while playing this
i get that making games is insanely hard and expensive, but i feel like graphics have been stagnating since 2013 (Crysis 3). I just finished playing the Witcher 3 and graphics are still stellar. Might sound crazy but i loved the style and simplicity of PS3 / Xbox 360 era. Like the look of Last of Us or Halo 4 / Gears 2-3. I much prefer more time spent making a better game then more time lost on improving graphics slightly. Zelda Breath of the Wild is a prime example of this.

Hi! i've played on my ps5 but the game seems to be caped at 30 fps. Stuttering all along. Is there a patch to unlock it or a uncaped version ?

Uncharted is one of the best franchise out there buddy. Definitely go for it. And specially 4 and Lost Legacy is really amazing cause of the new graphics and mechanisms.

Its about time for gaming developers to start thinking about the damn camera during action. It is irritating that the cam never knows where to be or just fighting with the nearest wall and collision goes rampant with everything.

Usually takes a bit longer, especially if you do the "secret" side quest, but nonetheless a kinda short game. I still think it was a bit overpriced when it came out. Yes, production value is high, game is great overall and makes a lot of fun. Picking it up in Sale however or as upgrade from UC4 for PS5-Version is a steal. Play it, if you havent.
