As a Ghanaiana l am so pleased to listen to you say good things about Ghana. We Ghanaians always have a good heart. You are always welcome b ack to Ghana.
Get in touch with Ghanaian UA-camr Wode Maya, he could be your best plug. But there are other Ghanaian youtubers that can also make your trip really enjoyable. Best to go in December also where all the action happens.
Hello from Georgetown Washington DC. My mom from Montego Bay Jamaica, Dad from ODA, Ghana. I was raised in Eastern region Ghana, Akim Oda, and studied at ODA SECONDARY SCHOOL. Ghana is such a great country. I have invested over there, got married to my high school girlfriend, we will be there the 2nd week of December. I really miss home, we can't wait to be there. BIG UP HAKIM. Thank you so much for sharing
Ghanaian indoctrinations are the best though tough to bear and understand your parents but when you grow to understand life then would realized how blessed you are.🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
I’m very impressed to hear my Country on the world Map❤…I wish I could also get this same experiences from other countries culture. Big bro you are warmly welcome to Ghana ❤🇬🇭🇬🇭
I am proud of you for speaking well of your grandfather and your love for him . I am also a Ghanaian, and I have raised my children and other children with the same values as your grandfather did. The good news is that each of these children has excelled in University. Thanks and Praise be to God Almighty.
December in Ghana is now the new pilgrimage to be celebrated by all lovers of positive influence, true African culture and the love for life. You will never forget the experience. December is a great time to catch real fun but be mindful to book your accommodation ahead of time since most places get fully booked by October. Ghana loves and misses you Hakimi and the crew.
Such a powerful account Hakim. I’m a Ghanaian and to me you’re a Ghanaian. Full respect to you for what you have achieved. Salute. That upbringing is powerful and yes that’s typical of a West African home, very similar to South Asian homes. I had the same upbringing at home in London and my dad would set us homework to complete evening morning and would expect it completed by the time he got back from work the next day. Love conquers all and clearly you loved your grandad very much. He loved you too. I’ve been to India and I’ve actually got more friends who are Asian than Ghanains or even white. I must say I was in Indian for 3 weeks and it’s just like Africa. Everything is literally the same. Please hurry and holiday in Ghana and I promise you you will go there every year. Ghana is booming, vibrant with youth and class. It’s super fun, lots of rooftop bars that makes you feel like you’re in New York but with the African vibe and weather. Honestly is modern too and so multicultural in Accra you. I met lots of Asian Ghanaians in a bar called SkyBar in Accra and they spoke my language Twi, their heritage has been in ghana over 100 years and they would tell you their Ghanaian not Asian. I thought I was the most Asian African in UK but Chale in Ghana I was pleasantly surprised by how multicultural it is and how everybody is so free. I would love in Ghana any day. In fact about from the pound sterling, there’s no comparison when it comes to personal freedom. Ghana is the life ❤
I've been viewing this channel for several months, thoroughly enjoy. Been curious about Hakim's back story (too lazy & busy to peruse previous videos😂) Live and raised in USA, born in Ghana, speak Mandarin Chinese (never lived or went to school there). My friends are from diverse backgrounds, a few close friends are Korean and they're families have adopted me. Traveled to a few countries in Eastern Asia: China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia.
Akwaaba you’re welcome. Visit different places in Ghana not just Accra, go to Akosombo, Shai hills, cape coast. If you don’t touch down at various places then for sure go and come back. Ghana is lifeeee! Watch the food bring that immodium after you’ll be fine. Prior to moving my belly has been fine.
Wow this such a beautiful story and kudos to your Grandpa for raising you to be such a fine and respectable gentleman. Ghana 🇬🇭 is such a great place and the people so peaceful and well mannered.
There is this thing about Africa with all its countries and islands that make us all feel connected and that others cannot understand!! The respect of elders, other cultures, and the importance of education has also shaped me throughout my childhood, teenage and until now in my adulthood. I was born in Taiwan, but raised in Mauritius. Ile Maurice being a melting pot just like Ile de la Réunion, I am always proud to say that I am from an African Island and yes, whenever I meet Africans anywhere in the World, I feel so connected !!! Thanks for this awesome podcast guys!!! ☮️💟👏🏻👍🏻💯
I am ghanians these things are instilled in us.that is why Ghana is difffrom most African countries.look up videos on Ghana . Muslims and Christian’s co exist in peace
@@sharonanthonique1255 are you sure? In Nigeria the religions can’t be peaceful let more the tribes… it’s not every country. In Ghana we can have a Muslim president today without any violence against other religions advancing. It’s something we pride ourselves on, the peace and respect for one another because we know we are all different. We can have arguments amongst some groups but we do not outright exclude people because they are worship a different god or speak a different language
Wow very inspirational story indeed.. I live in the UK, Northampton to be precise.. although I was born in UK, schooled in Ghana growing up attended boarding school there but been back for some 30+ yrs so I can very much relate. My experience in Ghana made me resilient!Appreciate you sharing your story.. just shared your channel with my daughters who were born and bred here in the UK. I think your story will motivate them more as they always say I am too pushy and they don’t like the pressure so now they can understand me.. I just want the best for them.
Listening to your beautiful story have taken me back to memory lane, I've shed a bit of tears with the way you talked about grandad, I can very much relate to your story ,the discipline and love our Ghanaian parents installed in us,coupled with the discipline in our boarding school setups has churned us to pillars of our society, as we've matured.
Honestly as Ghanaian we are brought up to be Ghanaians not blacks. We don't identify with the color of our skin but with our culture. I understand that there must be a distinction between black and African
Ghanaian watching from London. Everything said is true. I instill same values with my children. It’s hard for them in uk schools cos the clash of cultures. Most African politicians educated in LSE had so much respect. And yeah education, education, education !

Hey, Hakim you're our brother. You're a Ghanaian. Do you know your father, brother and you can claim a Ghanaian citizenship b' cos of your grand dad. We love you and stay safe.
