My condolences to you and your family Audrey! I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.My heart aches to hear this news. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.God bless you and your family.🙏💖😇🇨🇦
Audrey my condolences to you and your family. I understand your feelings I lost my wonderful wife of 30 years in October 2021 to breast cancer and was her caregiver to the end. Its been a hard road to travel at times. I don't know about the dating side of things yet but I do know how precious life is and I don't want to be alone. Life was meant to share experiences with the person you love and trust with your life. I hope you find the match that you deserve and fills you with an abundance joy and happiness.
I love your response to her! Spreading Love and Abundance and Joy is everyone’s real purpose in Life! To let God bless others thru us! It was nice to hear like-minded thinking! Hugs!
PS…I hope you are finding strength in your journey. I was widowed in Oct of 21 as well. I don’t think that we ever “get over” losing a love but we do develop coping skills. Oh! And as for the 5 or is it 7 Stages of grief, I would like to contact that author and suggest they list many more stages than 5 or 7. I’d like to add Panic, Loneliness, Guilt, Cocooning (staying at home), Comforting, (this is where self-medicating can start), Confusion, Dread, FEAR, hoarding emergency supplies (remember the bathroom tissue shortage? I do.) buying every type of health insurance that I cannot afford (this is probably a manifestation on of FEAR and belongs in that category) The list goes on, you know? I was happily married for 40 years to a wonderful man. So I became what I am declaring to be a new demographic…I am a Widow-Virgin! LOL! A dating site was my worst nightmare. Somebody changed all the rules about dating when I wasn’t looking! I wish that I was the person I was before I had that experience! LOL! Many blessings to you, kind sir!
In these conversations it is always the non-widowed with a widowed who have to be understanding and put up with another person in their relationship. and other crap. The widowed don't have to do any work for new love, or have compassion for the feelings of the one not widowed.
2 yrs ago I was widowed after 30 years of marriage. not even thinking about dating.dont want to be bothered. My name is Audrey too.

Love you so much Audrey! You're such a resilient and authentic person.
I just became a widow and I'm 26 years old too. Never thought I would ever be in this situation
My daughter lost her husband at the age of 26 too, he was the most amazing, loving, caring person on the earth, I grieve for my daughter's loss

Don't "struggle" to find love. It''ll happen again if God wills it. Take care
