      @@gordonbradley3241 Actually the companies were owned by cronies of the Labour PM Tony Blair, who is himself a Scot - as was his chancellor of the exchequer then PM Gordon Brown. And it was Tony Blair who forced the NHS to sign up to these companies. It was public knowledge when it happened and it's certainly been publicised since then, I've even heard/read about it and I don't even live in the UK.

    Unbelievable that the Presiding Officer is apparently reluctant to publicly hold the government to account, instead deflecting the issue towards the existing channels of complaint. Where is her outrage at being misled, where is her care for the dignity of her office being so disrespected?
    I can't be alone in thinking that she's covering for these wilfull misleadings of parliament, why else won't she reprimand ministers and demand accountability from the chair?

    She may have recognised the problem and explained how liars may correct their lie, but should the liars be pulled up for lying to the house. It seems it is left to the liars discretion whether they correct the lie or not. Ministers who continue to lie to the house must be sacked.

      It is stated that the SNP MSP’s are not allowed to disagree with the SNP, if they do they have a choice either resign or sacked. This is what happened over that SNP woman who objected to the Gender recognition bill. In other words shut up or loose your job!
      It is different in Westminster but Westminster rules in this case should be adopted in Scottish parliament as all of them are just yes men!

      James Hamilton QC came up with a report that.....in his opinion......Sturgeon did not break the ministerial code. However he added that it was up to the Scottish Parliament to decide if she had actually mislead Parliament. The Holyrood investigation committee that Sturgeon appeared in front of, and was questioned by, found by a majority verdict that Sturgeon had mislead Parliament. So why is the lying biiitch still in office and continuing to lie every day and disgracing Scotland.

    If a politician misleads deliberately or by incompetence, then they should be punished for this. I don’t think that there isn’t much of a penalty at the moment for them to be bothered. All that seems to happen at the moment is that they are called out for it. There must be a punishment to be paid for this, I suggest a large fine and a public apology.

    Listening to this lot would be better than ''Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister'' if it wasn't so tragic. Lord help Scotland if they ever get to totally run the country (I've just heard my son-in-law's aunt is desperately trying to sell up with her family [3 generations] and leave Scotland, probably for Ireland. Now I fully understand why).
    Oh, and I don't know who came up with the design for that debating?? room but it looks just like our audio visual room did in my school, back in the 1970s. And the way some of them are behaving reminds me of people I knew from school as well, and that isn't meant to be a compliment.
