Autumn is enrolled in public school but she is in a moderate/severe special education class.

My mom just retired from being a paraprofessional for the last 27 years (22 of those for highschool) and she misses those kids so much, I think she regrets retirement lol! Anyway my entire life I spent most of my summer breaks volunteering in her classes and have such a special space in my heart for children with special abilities (yes, I have always said it this was because they are able to do EVERYTHING we can just at their own pace or way) , my mom has always said how I would have been a great teacher, provider, Para for these kids..wish I would had listened to her and took my career into that direction other then medicine. ❤

Just one small thing is when washing hands she was correct to go for the water first . Nursing teaches you how to properly wash hands and you always wet your hands previous to getting the soap mama! Lol she was actually teaching you the right way the first time she tried 🤣

No way she's in High School !? I remember my freshman year of high school

Yeah my dog was the same she would yelp after shots. She has her annual appointment I will mention it to the vet maybe they can give like dog safe Tylenol yes it does exist. Or something that a special pet store has that can help with minor pain.

Does autumn like those bounce or trampoline places? That can make exercise fun if she’s into it. I know she doesn’t like walking but how about if you take a long walk to a place she likes as an incentive? Just not a food place so she doesn’t see food as a reward.
Have you tried the bissell pro mop? With pets it’s a game changer.

You should really stop wearing your shoes in the house. That will really help cut back on the dirt and just grossness. I grew up having to take my shoes off at the door at home and at other peoples home. I mean when you really sit down and think about it it’s super gross to wear your shoes inside your house.

We haven’t been able to go on walks now that school has started. The boys do tae Kwon do twice a week but we haven’t found something Autumn enjoys besides swim. We are excited she’s starting swim again.
