Love the new designer mystery quilt for 2024. I also loved the 2023 one, I missed out on it, but I’m signed up for 2024. I don’t like scary movies, but as a kid, my cousins and I were visiting our Uncle Johnny and Aunt Sweet in Canton, Texas and one night we watched the old black and white movie called THEM. We screamed our heads off. A couple of years ago my sister and I watched it on Amazon--we screamed our heads off. It is worth the watch.

My scariest movie was the original Aliens movie (1979) which l saw at the drive-in with two other 18yr girlfriends. It was pitch dark outside the car and we were scared. A guy from the car next to us knocked on the window and we screamed so loud security came to check on us . I can laugh about it today 40+ years later 🤣but have never watched the movie again.

I could never keep up with all the sew and stitch along but I sure enjoy the trunk shows; amazing how much you can get done! I just stitch while I watch. I think the scariest movie was `The Blob`, watching with friends on a Saturday afternoon many years ago; many Vincent Prices movies were scary too! I do not watch scary movies anymore; I like the real crime documents; although if I had known the stuff that was happening when I was growing up I don`t think I would have been brave enough to leave the house! Without a doubt, the Wizard of Oz is the scariest movie I have ever seen. I had nightmares of tornados for ever. As a adult I move to Ohio a year after the Xenia tornado, for the whole eight years in Ohio I was on high alert whenever there were high winds.

Jordan : When I was 6 or 7 my family went to the outdoor movies in the car and watched The Man That Turned To Stone. It was dark and scary outside and the sounds from the movies scared me to death. I’m 75 now and have never gone to a scary movie since, can you imagine.
I don't watch horror movies, so my favorite scary movie is Signs. I love it and have had so much fun watching it with my son! Ok , my husband and I love The Shining 1980 Shelly Duvalls performance was beyond amazing!!! The best acting I have ever seen. Many give Nicholson all the credit but she made that movie so great. No movie has ever delivered so much creepiness and unease as this gem from Kubrick.
I think my favorite scary movies are the insidious movies. I remember watching the first one in Theater and really loving the soundtrack and the twist! Thank you for all the content you provide on UA-cam! As a busy full time working and mom of 2 under 3 I rarely get to see the live stream, but always get caught up on the weekends!
Scary Movie: Children of the Corn and all the Chuckie movies. When I was small it was the Flying Monkeys in Wizard of Oz. I still cringe when I see them.

I loved this longer live stream! When I was a kid my parents took us to the drive-in to see a triple showing of "The Fly", "The Spider", and "The Blob". This was about 60 years ago. I had nightmares after seeing them. I couldn't get that Fly with the human head out of my mind. My mother loved scary movies so I saw a lot of them as a kid.

I saw it late but what a Live! I love all the quilts! my scary movie... I saw so many when I was in school, I used to love them! but my all-time favorite is The Exorcist, that theme of exorcism I read about it and see every documental that came in my way!
Scary movies when I was a kid were Frankenstein and Mummy movies. They came on after 10 at night on weekends. My sister and I loved them. That was about the only thing that would keep me up at late at night. I enjoyed seeing all the quilts. It gives me to many ideas.
Since you have to order like 6 months early then I will tell you now that I plan to buy an ungodly amount of the Anne Sutton collection. I saw her post on instagram and immediately changed my Christmas budget because I knew my preorder list would be huge. I am in love with this collection. Her color palette is always so soft and beautiful. She is one of my top 5 favorite designers hands down. I think it will blend well with her Flower Farm collection and Sugarberry too so I still have plenty to combine and create with. Looking forward to getting my hands on this gorgeous fabric. I am also hoarding "quilt budget" money for the April collection Hey Boo by Vanessa at Lella Boutique. I am so geeked out over her Halloween collection and I am in love with it so I plan to order loads of it also. I might need a second job at this point. Haha. Great show today.
Final destination for me. We live in Washington state, and there are constantly log trucks on our roads. If they are near me while driving, I literally will speed to get out from behind them. The other one is The Howling. My aunt made me watch it,when I finally fell asleep, she terrorized me by clawing at the walls and howling. To this day, I refuse to watch horror movies. My family wants to watch one, I go to my sewing room and hide out.

For the triangle gatherings block that you don’t like, please consider making 2 or 4 more blocks in that fabric. Then, it won’t stick out so much once all of the blocks are done.
The forest fire scene in Bambi scared me to death - my sister ans I were crying so loudly the usher had my dad remove us from the theater. I think I was 4 yrs old. I have not seen the complete movie - I appreciate all you do for us - FQS is so generous and your customer service is the very best in the business!
I totally feel your angst about Poltergeist. I had a similar situation. My brother and my bedrooms were upstairs and the tree was in front of my window. A branch would occasionally scrape against the windows and I would come unglued! 😱 We also had a Mickey Mouse hoppity hop that we made sure was locked in a closet every night for fear that he would get us in our sleep. Oh my, you brought back memories but as I look at it now I think that we must have very creative minds because we had such imagination as kids. I also rarely watch movies so I can't say a favorite, but Poltergeist was sure memorable. I can't wait to order some of these beautiful fabrics, Thank you for sharing them all. 💗

The Amityville and Exorcist was the scariest movie’s for me growing up.
I saw it late but what a Live! I love all the quilts! my scary movie... I saw so many when I was in school, I used to love them! but my all-time favorite is The Exorcist, that theme of exorcism I read about it and see every documental that came in my way!
Scary movies when I was a kid were Frankenstein and Mummy movies. They came on after 10 at night on weekends. My sister and I loved them. That was about the only thing that would keep me up at late at night. I enjoyed seeing all the quilts. It gives me to many ideas.
I loved Nightmare on Elm Street. I would only take showers for years. No baths for me. Loved seeing all your accomplishments this month.
Since you have to order like 6 months early then I will tell you now that I plan to buy an ungodly amount of the Anne Sutton collection. I saw her post on instagram and immediately changed my Christmas budget because I knew my preorder list would be huge. I am in love with this collection. Her color palette is always so soft and beautiful. She is one of my top 5 favorite designers hands down. I think it will blend well with her Flower Farm collection and Sugarberry too so I still have plenty to combine and create with. Looking forward to getting my hands on this gorgeous fabric. I am also hoarding "quilt budget" money for the April collection Hey Boo by Vanessa at Lella Boutique. I am so geeked out over her Halloween collection and I am in love with it so I plan to order loads of it also. I might need a second job at this point. Haha. Great show today.

Final destination for me. We live in Washington state, and there are constantly log trucks on our roads. If they are near me while driving, I literally will speed to get out from behind them. The other one is The Howling. My aunt made me watch it,when I finally fell asleep, she terrorized me by clawing at the walls and howling. To this day, I refuse to watch horror movies. My family wants to watch one, I go to my sewing room and hide out.

For the triangle gatherings block that you don’t like, please consider making 2 or 4 more blocks in that fabric. Then, it won’t stick out so much once all of the blocks are done.
The forest fire scene in Bambi scared me to death - my sister ans I were crying so loudly the usher had my dad remove us from the theater. I think I was 4 yrs old. I have not seen the complete movie -

I totally feel your angst about Poltergeist. I had a similar situation. My brother and my bedrooms were upstairs and the tree was in front of my window. A branch would occasionally scrape against the windows and I would come unglued! 😱 We also had a Mickey Mouse hoppity hop that we made sure was locked in a closet every night for fear that he would get us in our sleep. Oh my, you brought back memories but as I look at it now I think that we must have very creative minds because we had such imagination as kids. I also rarely watch movies so I can't say a favorite, but Poltergeist was sure memorable. I can't wait to order some of these beautiful fabrics, Thank you for sharing them all. 💗
I would definitely watch a Crime Con video. Loved everything on the video. Scariest movie. When I was young Carrie was scary for me and also Jaws.

Amazing livestream to inspire and motivate. I have so many ideas for projects I have to do after watching :) Growing up, The Shining terrified me, and for years, every time I tried to sleep, Jack's face always stared into mine.
