I don’t have a present for you Tammie, but I would like to say that I feel each video I watch is like my own personal present from you! Your willingness to share your knowledge and experience is a gift not everyone would offer. I value all your comments but especially those about pantographs, as I am new to quilting. I laughed about your meat grinder. I have my mum’s and use it occasionally. Now I’ve got an idea for when I don’t need it for food prep anymore. Priceless!
Wow! You are so kind! Thank you!
Tammie, I watched all your videos in 2023 and I am looking forward to more videos from your channel in 2024, so inspiring to watch your presentation of all your customer quilts and your matching pantographs but also to listen to all your family stories. It's beautiful to see someone in todays time to believe in family values. Thank you for sharing your stories.🌼
What a blessing that is to me! Thank you!
OMG! The meat grinder brings back so many memories! I used to loved helping my Mom with that thing.
So fun!
It seems that your husband really hears what you are saying, he listens to you. He did a really good job picking out your Christmas gifts!!
I think so too!
I am 67 years old. I used that style of meat grinder for years growing up. As soon as I could see over the stove, my mom let me cook. We grew up on Giblet/gizzard stuffing. I'd cook the gizzards until they were soft then run them through the grinder. Stuffing was required for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Well I can’t say that I’ve ever had giblet/gizzard dressing! (Not knowingly anyway 😉) Great memories!
Presencia threads are really lovely. I’ve used them quite a bit for hand stitching. Quite common here in England xx
Thank you for the information. That is a great help!
You have such a calming voice!!! I love you mention fat quarter shop. I’m a Texas girl as well. As Kimberly. The quilting is beautiful and really compliment the quilts, not to over power them. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for your kind comments!
I’m from a Mennonite community where those meat grinders are still in vogue and sold. I have one and am still using it. 😊
That is awesome! We have processed some of our own meat but never used a meat grinder.
I just found your channel this week and have been bingeing past videos. You are an amazing ambassador for quilt designers, makers, fabric and businesses associated with quilt making. Add to that your down-to-earth enthusiasm for all things quilting, family and faith is fabulous! I appreciate all the time and effort that goes into your videos--the photos of quilts that have already "gone home", the quilts you have in hand, the commentary and details in the description for quilt patterns, fabrics, notions, books, etc. is very much acknowledged as extraordinary! Thank you!
WELL SAID! This whole comment is SO representative of my feeling about Tammie and her videos. I’ve written in the comments before but not as succinctly as you just did. I’m hanging a big “DITTO” sign on this compliment to Tammie and all she does for us.
☺️ oh my goodness, I wish I could give you a hug! Thank you for your encouragement!
And Nancy, thank you as well! You are a blessing!
Your viewers are so generous! I love all the homemade gifts! I have also made those felt and sequined Christmas stockings for everyone in my family. I started with my first daughter. She was born in 1973. I have 4 kids and their spouses and 10 grands. I have also made a few for cousins for their kids so that’s a lot of stockings. But I enjoy making them and they enjoy receiving them. Then one year my 2 daughters made stockings for my husband and I so we have our own now.
These stockings are treasured possessions! ♥️
My Mom used to grind ring bologna and add pickle relish and mayo for sandwiches. I have one in good shape that I've used. I also have a ricer to make potatoes. Luv them both.
That is so fun!
Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family with a healthy and prosperous New Year. I enjoy your channel it’s so peaceful. Thank you.
Thank you Linda! May God richly bless you in 2024 as well. ♥️
Tammie...thank you for sharing this lovely video...enjoyed all the quilts and quilting...best wishes ❤❤❤
You are so welcome!
Misty did it on a youtube tutorial 5 years ago, Its called Pinwheel Christmas Tree
Thanks so much!
What a great idea for the meat grinder. Thank you for sharing.
It’s going to be fun!
Just LOVE the simple 9 patch older quilt so much! I love civil war fabrics as well.
Timeless!
So many pretty quilts! I made a list of my UFOs and their various stages a few days ago. I'm going to try hard to just focus on them for a while before I start something new. We'll see how that goes for me. 😅 I have the Juniper Berries pattern and the Quilt Bee book. The quilts you shared in this video inspired me to get started on my list so I can start one of them in the future.
I enjoy your videos. Happy New Year!
You can do it! You’ll be so happy to have them finished!
Once again, I love every quilt pieced by your talented customers, Tammie and your quilting is superb! The one that really called to me, much to my surprise, was the pineapple quilt. Perhaps b/c I seem to be drawn to Jason Yenter fabrics. Thanks so much for including links when you can. That really helps! I also love the quilt that is over 20 years old. I am happy that Debbie #1 had it quilted. Thanks for suggesting to strip piece the 2 blocks using a muslin background. I might do that, I have fabric that is 20+ years that needs to be used. Dawn's Juniper Berries quilt also spoke to me with non traditional Christmas fabrics❣️ LOVE it. The Witch Quilt is wonderful and so fun! Again, every quilt shown today is sew special. I can see why you love long arming them...what a great job you have. Can't wait to see your plans for 2024.
You are a blessing Marsha! Thanks!
My Quilted Witch Kit is still in the box....but, now I'm glad I haven't started it because I like the background Debbie chose a bit more than what's in the kit! :-) Decisions, decisions....
Hers was beautiful! Yours will be too!
I love the music that you use. The moment I hear it, I know I am in for a treat of gorgeous quilts! The story of your mom making stockings as your family grew warmed my heart. My mom had a meat grinder like that and she made THE BEST ground beef sandwich spread using roast. Great repurpose idea, Tammie❣️ Forgive me if I comment more than once, I an only 12 min into the video.
Thank you Marsha! I’ve heard so many great stories of the good food made using these meat grinders. Why did we ever stop?
All of those quilting were beautiful. Thank you for sharing the inspiration and your talent!
You are so welcome!
I love Debbie’s quilt ❤❤
So pretty!
Enjoy your channel so much. Happy New Year!
Thank you! You are a blessing!
Your pressed flower blocks look great
Thanks! 💕
So much inspiration from your videos! Thank you for sharing such beautiful quilts along with your amazing quilting designs. Truly beautiful! I love each and every one of your videos!
Thank you so much! You are a blessing to me!
Happy New Year. Such pretty quilts. I like them all, however I enjoy the simplicity of the Christmas quilts.
So special!
Yes! So glad to see more of your work!
Yay, thank you!
I too love the Civil War reproduction fabric! I just purchased some for a quilt I'd love to make for my brother. He is a civil war enthusiast and reinactor who is recovering from cancer. Thank you for your videos, Tammi. I look forward to each and every one!
That sounds like the perfect gift for him. It would be treasured, I am sure! Thank you!
Hello Tammie, Happy New Year! Thank you for this video; so many lovely quilts. It's great to see you back. I'm happy your holidays were great with your family and you had a bit of a rest. I'm looking forward to your videos for 2024. 😊 ❤
Thank you!
Another video packed with inspiration and information. I made the Christmas tree quilt from the pattern Regal Pines by Chelsi that you quilted around September I think. It really turned out cute. I think my next project will be the nine patch you showed today. I have around 30 fat quarters that I bought from Craftsy years ago that are lights and darks and although not true reproduction fabrics fabrics I think it will be very pretty. Thanks for all the ideas because I really need to use up some of my fabrics. Thanks for all the work you put into these videos.
My pleasure! Thank you for the encouragement!
Thank you for another great video from one of your loyal 8,000!❤
You are so kind!☺️
Good to see you back, I love your videos ❤
Thank you so much! ☺️
Good morning and Happy New Year! Nice to see you back again. Each quilt today are extra special. My choice for the number one is Debbie's 9 patch. Those civil war fabrics always draw me in. Can't wait to see your plans for this year.
Civil War fabrics are so rich! I love them too!
The Christmas Tree pattern is called Christmas Tree and the quilter substituted pinwheels for the zig zag in the original pattern.
Thanks for the info!
I look forward to your videos, love your family stories and that you share what you know about quilting! Thank you! And happy New Year!!!
Happy new year! Thank you!
Tammie, I'm looking at the quilts beautified by your quilting. I live off of the far corner of western Europe. I made a quilt that I wanted for Christmas. Finding a long armer was hard
as quilting isn't popular where I live. I found one trusted her with my quilt. She ruined my quilt. One section is all distorted, the quilting is coming apart a big pucker on the back and
some of the squares are "pleated" . I should have straight-lined quilted it myself.
Very expensive lesson learnt.
Oh I am so sorry to hear this. I’d be heartbroken- is it repairable? Best, Steph
@@stephaniesnape6787 I've removed a row of blocks from all around the quilt.
When I put on a new border it may help. I was so careful making this quilt I
did feel heartbroken it was the final straw in what has been a very tough
15 months. Steph, Thank you for replying. Happy 2024.
From now on I'll settle for quilting with my walking foot.
I just have to cringe when I hear something like this. It’s so sad after all the time and effort you put into making the quilt. I’m so sorry.
Thank you for your kind words but I am so sorry for your terrible experience. 😢
Tamie i also have a meat grinder. But i grind meat in it. Love it.
That is so great!!
Love your Pressed Flowers progress. It’s on my list.
It's so good!
Hello Tammie -- I am on my second day of binge watching several of your videos. Your meat grinder also intrigued me. Does it have any markings on it? Specifically either "Universal" or "New Britain Conn". That was my hometown, which was called "hardware city" for many years until the 1970s. I've heard the original products made by our local manufacturers are found all over the country. (PS I live in Louisville KY now -- so we are almost neighbors!)
Awesome work this week, Tammie! I ❤❤❤ the Shine On quilt, wow- 🤩 I have that book and am inspired as usual. Happy new year to you and your family! -Angie ❤
So happy to enable your 2024 plans! 😉
I really love all the quilts shown today, so pretty. It has inspired me, now to decide what to do next. I have my Dad’s old meat grinder just like yours and I remember he and Mom grinding bologna with pickle pieces for sandwiches. Great memories. I was not sure what I was going to do with it, but just couldn’t get rid of it, you gave me a great idea Tammie, thanks. I look forward to each one of your videos.
I’m so glad you hung on to it!
Happy New Year, Tammie. Thank you.
Happy new year! ♥️
So enjoyed your video. Love the metal star ornament you received. Would love info about how to purchase one for my tree should your friend happen to share.
I'm sorry, but I don't have information on it.
Have you ever considered showing the pictures as you talk? That way, we can visualize what you refer to? Your videos are very enjoyable
Thank you for the feedback. I’ll try it!
Tammie, Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your family! I love your videos! Can you say again where the free bird pattern is that you showed in another video?
Sorry for my long delay. Here is the link to the free pattern:

Beautiful projects. I especially like the Prism project that Charlene made. Can you tell me what size the pineapple blocks are in that particular quilt? I checked the link and couldn't find the size mentioned. Would like to know it's size either unfinished or finished. Thanks for sharing these gorgeous projects.
They were 10” blocks finished. Is that the size you’d like to make?
My mom used her meatgrinder to make mincemeat. The washer came off it in her pie. My brother was the lucky one to get it in his piece of pie. She was at least 89 so we forgave her
I love that memory! Thanks for sharing.
Kudus to her for making the pie when she was 89! This sounds like the things that happened at our house-always memorable.
That is so fun! What great memories!
Love your meat grinder! Used one to make homemade sausage when the kids were little!
TREE quilt: MSQC SKU- PATD430 for the digital Christmas tree pattern(s) chevron or pinwheels.
Missouri Star blog Nov 22, 2018.
Thanks so much for the info!
I wonder if your husband thought you were goi g to make some sausage or something.
Nope. He knows me by now! 🤪
I have my mother’s meat grinder AND my aunt’s meat grinder! I have wonderful memories of the goodies they used these for. They were both wonderful cooks.
That is awesome!
