Introducing The New Suhr Hombre™- Pure. Classic. Tone.

- Hombre™, Suhr’s take on the classic Brownface tones that have inspired John Suhr since his early days as a guitarist. The intention was clear: create a modern take on these classic designs while preserving the vintage heritage.
The purity of the signal path is part of Hombre's beauty. It results in a playing experience that is incredibly dynamic and touch-sensitive. A simple turn of the volume and tone controls will put a shocking range of sound at your fingertips.
Clean tones are classic, gorgeous and bell-like, but make no mistake, this amp is a dirty little combo. It wants to be pushed into sweet overdrive, conjuring tones from the 1970s era of Texas blues-rock.
The onboard Dynamic Tube Bias Tremolo imparts an unmistakably rich, sought after sound, that simply can't be imitated. Hombre is driven by a ~20-watt 6V6 power section and features a lightweight cabinet loaded with a 12" Celestion V-Type speaker.
-Pure Signal Path
Hombre features a Normal and Bright channel with straightforward Volume and Tone controls. A simple, transparent signal path is something many players find alluring due to the purity of tone and superb dynamic range.
Our goal was to maintain the vintage characteristics while simultaneously improving the design. The bright channel has a bit more sparkle. Painstaking attention was given to the component layout and signal path to reduce noise. Hombre is equipped with custom made transformers that are wound on paper bobbins and made in the USA.
-Dynamic Tube Bias Tremolo
Bias Tremolo circuits are truly unique in that the effect is created by modulating the bias of the power tubes. As the power tube bias is lowered and raised, it imparts an unmistakably rich, sought after sound, that only a Tube Bias Tremolo can.

"baby we were makin' straight A's, but we were stuck in a dumb daze."
I'm glad I wasn't the only one! Love School of Rock
This is a great little amp. Sounds stellar. I love Pete Thorn's demo of it. I dug the sound of it immediately.
I remember it from NAMM this year. It was spectacular!!!
Such an informative video! Told me everything I ever wanted to know about the Honbre amp! I honestly don't understand how you guys managed to pack so much information into a 1 minute and 15 second video!!! And now after watching this video and getting thoroughly informed I am off to go buy a different amp.
Sounds fantastic guys!!!!
I Love this Amp!!!! Thank You, John.
If this amp wouldn't sport a leather handle, I'd have ordered it today.
Must suck to be vegan.
@@ericmojave6061 actually no, it's pretty amazing. Imagine a life with all of the things you're used to, but without any of that odd nonsense derived from abused and murdered animals. As far as currently doable as things like electronics and furniture aren't easily entirely vegan, but this alone goes a long way. This odd side taste being omnipresent in all dairy products, it's gone with the vegan alternatives I like to eat. This disgusting smell from the poo literally being part of meat, this heavy junk in the digestion, all of the related health issues, also gone. The conflict with yourself being a real problem to the world by having people abuse and kill animals for your personal luxury, also gone.
The only part which sucks is when repeatedly figuring how you're surrounded by a careless mass of numb, indifferent monsters, which care for absolutely nothing but their own, personal benefit. And happily walk over dead bodies for this purpose, including their own. But that's not a vegan specific issue, it's the same with all constructive topics, from climate change via general politics to feminism, antifascism, what have you. A strange majority of people have an unnatural drive for wanting to suffer and wanting to see others suffer, and if it kills them.
As for the leather handle: It is real leather. I ended up going for the Orange OR30, and it suits my needs much better anyways. No complaints there. :)
@@Goth108I wonder why people almost always confuse Fascism with National Socialism. They almost literally have nothing in common.
@@Goth108 veganism is the product of a sick mind. It’s trendy to be different and that’s a pretty huge way to do it. Imagine a world where everyone cares about your reasonings behind being vegan. Imagine a world where there has to be special food at thanksgiving so that you have something to eat. special restaurants where they use processed vegetables engineered to taste more like meat so that you can have a TLT with extra tempeh.
Tell me more about how YOU are surrounded by monsters. Seems like you’re the one trying to cope in the real world so you gave yourself a unique “thing” makes you stand out. It worked….oh and it seems like your lack of nutrients in your diet has put you in a bad mood. Try having a real meal for a change. You’ll feel better…
@@Goth108I honestly greatly appreciate your alternative outlook and approach. Way to open my mind honestly. Definitely going to meditate on it.
Not sure where I’d start coming from a conservative upbringing, but definitely keeping this all in mind.
I must own one! \m/
Ooh yeah
Wicked good amp!!
I want it 😍😍
Man, I want one.
School of rock 😜
A ver si aflojamos con el choreo Suhr!!!
Point to point? Harmonic tremolo or classic bias tremolo ?
can anyone help me ? do you have to put reverb ahead of this amp as it doesnt has a fx loop
Love you guys. This was the lamest demo ever.
This ain't a demo, this is a short promo.
Be nice to hear one with something other than a tele..
I tried one; no cleans , creaking buttons..
Which Suhr tele has this headstock?
We have Coke & Pepsi
and Yes Fender & Suhr
It must be called Macho instead of Hombre
point to point?
Well that was pointless 🤦🏻♂️
"Assembled in USA" is not "Made in USA." So where are the majority of the components made? If it's the People's Republic of China, I'll have to pass on it.
USA makes very few electrical components. Not sure if they make any that would be present in an amp. That is why it says "assembled in USA" and not "Made in USA".
In California it's almost impossible to put Made in the USA on products.
@@YeatzeeGuitar There are plenty of amplifiers that are "Made in USA," including the overwhelming majority of Suhr models, so what are you talking about?
And even if an amp isn't "Made in USA," I'd still be open to buying it as long as it sounds good, is well designed/engineered and built, with quality components...and isn't "Made in China" or "Made in PRC."
@@Blabarspaj Then why are the Suhr Corso, Badger, Bella, PT100, SL, ML, SH, hand-wired models able to sport the "Made in USA" designation, while the Hedgehog, PT15 I.R., PT15, and Hombre models are not?
You could not have chosen a font that is closer to the Fender logo. Coincidence? I had Suhr in great esteem. You have now got very low. Down there together with the Asian copy-cats.
It’s an homage to what inspired it, you moron.
It's a clone of a Fender Deluxe 6G3 hence it makes sense for it to have Fender aesthetics.
