Question is the 2wd frame the same as the 4x4 ??? Im have a 4x4 rusted out truck n i bought a 2wd frame to seap what would i have to add to make it work with a 4x4 frame/ truck
Awesome! Great job! Any issues with 4LO? Does the ECM recognize it going into 4Lo? I’ve seen other people have issues with it going into limp mode. Cheers!
It was crazy cheap but I can't say it will always be that good. Got the frame with the cab and had the transmission aswell. All for $500. Sold the doors for $100 each. I will say if your going to try it get a manual transfer case. And then all you need to do is wire up the front diff solenoid.
Always love your ambition level to take on anything! Nice job man!
Thank you. Would have been easier with a lift but I am motivated and will find away.
Man is the first time a see
A 4x4 conversion nice
I'm on the same thing
I want to make 4x4 my 2008 silverado
Thank you. Easiest to find a frame for sure. Well worth it if you have a good body and motor.

The 2wd frame i had was different. There was no mounting points for the front diff at all.
Looks good.
Thank you. Turned out pretty pretty good I think
another cool project 4x4 lowerd perfect
Thank you. I like the idea of having 4wd when you need it but still having a little hot rod truck to have fun with and in Montana the 4wd really helps
@@choppedinc. yea it will something different thats for sure

No problems it's all separate being that it was a 2wd there was no spot in the harness so it has its own power separately.
Hello we want to see more videos of the silverado 4WD floor shifter conversion
Had fun with it and sold it sorry 😞
@@choppedinc. buy another one
And make it nice
You have a video were you cut the frame for the seme truck
Are you talking about the front part? The short bed frame had a small amount of damage right at the front of the frame on the drivers side
Did you have any issues with the computer ? Being programmed for 2wd i always have wondered if it would cause issues
No problem just had to extend the wire for the speed sensor.
@choppedinc. cool thanks. Gonna try it in a few weeks. Subscribed.
Can these frames be cut and rewelded to make the conversion ?
You could do it for a short bed conversion but for the 4wd the mounting points for the front differential are not there on a 2wd
How much did you spend making 4 x 4?

Can I buy the long bed from you
Unfortunately that was a long time ago and all the parts are gone
