4:26 to 4:36. The world succumbed so long ago to the Cordyceps infection that Joel has lost his faith on the cure. It’s a small dialogue, but tell so much about the hopelessness of the remaining humans.
Do you feel like this moment and scene is depicted well versus the video game? I think this is set up and acted well however the video game moment of the same exchange feels more raw with the rain and dark skies seeming like a fourth character or an omen. @enzomezacasa
Oh yes yes yes yes that is what the gamers expected with tlou2, see Joel, Tess and Tommy back in their dark days when they were hunters, but they just showed us entirely Abby's character and not Even a glimpse of Joel's past, before Ellie

Tess's tune immediately changes when she sees Ellie eating a sandwich. The virus transferred through flour and stuff; the bread Ellie is eating would obviously have to be "new" and likewise not infected, but part of me wonders if Marlene packed it as a nudge nudge. As far as I can tell, Ellie eating bread is right about when Tess seems to mull the thought over extra hard and change her tune.

Anna Torv was the best casting choice for this show. She felt as close to the game character more than anyone else.
If we not include Marleen then yes. 😉
@@Bloooo95
Very true. Marlene being the same actress from the game was perfect.
I miss her. Wish we got more time with her and Sarah.
totally agree, i also liked the casting for tommy and maria. pedro and bella are some of the weaker performances in the show imo.

Yep, this is exactly how I feel.
It would be great to have a flashback episode in season 2 of how Tess and Joel met and the things they did.

I was thinking that the story provides a wonderful opportunity at a prequel for Joel, Tess, and his brother.

Huh that’s actually a pretty cool observation I didn’t consider that. Good work 🤙🏼
Tess is so badass. The actress absolutely nailed it
I hate that she doesn’t look like the video game Tess but she did a good job. In the game she looks young and fine and here she looks like a grandma

Not all bread. Just one big batch of flour. Any wheat or grain grown after outbreak would be fine. Or any not from that one facility.

In my honest opinion: Madeleine McGraw should have been Ellie.
Why kill someone if they're infected? They didn't choose to be, let them live their days in peace.
You’d say that until the person started turning and coming after you.
Pretty sure the only reason people survived is cause they killed every infected suspect.
