I wish them the best, I really do. Locally owned ethic grocery stores are WONDERFUL.

The Brooklyn Center Shoplifters Union Local 284 unanimously approved this recent opening of EVF in the community. 👍🏿

One of the advantages of losing Walmart is that small, locally owned businesses can thrive again. That is, if they can proactively deal with shoplifting.

Interesting. Can you do a report on how Brooklyn Center became so diverse, please?
    What policies created such demographics?
What attracts people to this area? It seems cold. Why would ethnically equatorial people want to live there?

That's a great question. There are definitely quasi-governmental orgs. that assist immigrants in locating places to live.
You dig into that. I can't remember the names of these organizations. There's a bunch and some have Government sounding names, some might actually be government orgs.
I know some are private and they have their own impetus.
One thing is definitely for sure, they are all Immigrant Advocate and proactively keep the stream running. Like an industry almost.
