Refs were strangely consistent about not calling that a flagrant foul. Naz Reid made the exact same play on Kuminga in the previous game, they didn’t call a flagrant then either. For what it’s worth, I don’t think either were flagrant fouls, in both cases the fouls were committed to make absolutely sure the shot couldn’t be made, and Naz and Dray held on to each player to prevent them from landing poorly so Kuminga and Según wouldn’t hurt themselves on the landing. It was risky for Draymond to do it that way given his reputation, but he was clearly trying to prevent Según from hitting his head on the floor.

This game and the Nuggets game has shown that. For the sake of “speed”, teams are giving up fundamentals and common sense shots. There might as well not be positions since everyone is shooting threes and not playing defense.
It was when they good defense, good transition offense, and two of the best shooters in their prime in Steph and Klay..Bad 3's, no chance, but they had pretty good sets and overall play with two amazing shooters so it worked for a while.

The reason the refs didn’t favor GS at the end was because of Draymond Green. He grabbed (and tackled) an opponent from behind in the closing minutes of that game. The refs reviewed that play and called it correctly BUT you could tell there was a look of disgust on their face when addressing the crowd. We could even see an uncomfortable look from Curry because he knew THAT ISN’T BASKETBALL - it’s thuggery. Now, people can say what they want about the rules but human nature will ALWAYS be to favor those that are working hard and fair. Houston got some favor because Draymond does not play with integrity - and that makes everyone in the league look bad. A team that is complicit with poor behavior will eventually be subjected to bad outcomes (Karma 101). Kerr can act as astonished as he likes but he must realize that his success is tied to DG and that’s not going to change. Calling out all of the Billions of dollars will only make him look like he’s justifying the bad actions on the court and complicit nature of the organization. FACTS!

The warriors need a better center. That last layup by the rockets was way too easy. Then the three from steph was early and unnecessary. But overall the refs were beyond terrible. Gary Payton has the ball and Steve Kerr is literally on the court asking for a timeout and they don't give it to him, then they call a nonsensical foul, but miss the shooting foul on Podziemski's three. There is just so much bad defense in the paint these days. So many of these highlights were dudes flying through a wide open paint for an easy uncontested dunk. The 3 second defensive rule needs to go. When combined with today's spacing, it just makes the paint too hard to defend.

The reason the refs didn’t favor GS at the end was because of Draymond Green. He grabbed (and tackled) an opponent from behind in the closing minutes of that game. The refs reviewed that play and called it correctly BUT you could tell there was a look of disgust on their face when addressing the crowd. We could even see an uncomfortable look from Curry because he knew THAT ISN’T BASKETBALL - it’s thuggery.
Now, people can say what they want about the rules but human nature will ALWAYS be to favor those that are working hard and fair. Houston got some favor because Draymond does not play with integrity - and that makes everyone in the league look bad. A team that is complicit with poor behavior will eventually be subjected to bad outcomes (Karma 101).
Kerr can act as astonished as he likes but he must realize that his success is tied to DG and that’s not going to change. Calling out all of the Billions of dollars will only make him look like he’s justifying the bad actions on the court and complicit nature of the organization. FACTS!
