Yeah I know the exact video you're referring too! Dai's car is awesome and although I most definitely won't drift this I'd love to take it on a few track days to full stretch it's legs out
it's apparently a bit of an old school trick when building an engine that's going to sit for a while, it also helps the engine with building oil pressure on the first start. Can't hurt to try of course :) The Vaseline will melt instantly and mix in with the run-in oil for the first start which will then be flushed out soon after
